i have the engine torn down to the exhaust and intake manifolds that are still bolted to the two separate heads. do i have to take off the manifolds, or can i lift the entire thing with a gantry crane. if i can lift it, are there any specific places i should lift from. also the last six...

what do i need to check to know if it is a m62 or a m543a2. my understanding is it only has to do with the boom. when it is light i can go out and check it. is one more desireable than the other. by the way it costs 175 dollars an hour to tow a 5 ton in california.

i get the feeling that for most it is easier to fix a broken truck than to keep the wife happy about it. would od iron also be a good source to get the tow bar and associated hardware. my kids think the wrecker is very cool. my boy is nine and my girl is five. i think we have the wife...
i bought my new wrecker at 300 pm and by 430 i needed a bigger wrecker to get it home. when i pulled in to get diesel i noticed oil leaking from the back side of the block next to the firewall. a gasket blew out between the block and the manifold and was spraying oil everywhere. i also then...
i think i have everything for today. i have a friend driving my vehicle as a chase car. i have proof of insurance, and i have a temporary tag from dmv. i hope everything goes well. what rpm should i run a multifuel 5 ton at on the highway. i was very surprised at how cheap insurance was...
i am hopeing to pick up a multifuel wrecker tomorrow. i am very thankfull for everyone who pointed me to the proper tms for the wrecker. reading through the tms is certainly a fast paced education. i havent been able to find but one close up picture of how the hook ups look when towing a...
i am reading the tm for the m39 series, and the m62 is not specified as a truck in that series. is there a reason it would not be listed? there are 18 specified trucks listed in that series. thank you for helping me find the tm and thank you to every one who has listed all this info in such...
sorry about all these newby questions, but under the vehicle specifications heading why isnt there a m62 listed. i also have no idea which tms to print, does any one know which ones pertain to a m62.
thanks again.

i will take some pictures today, and see if i can add them. also the engine is a multifuel. i have heard to print the tm and read the entire thing prior to transport. i assume that is the military tech manual. how many tms pertain to the m62 with a multifuel, and which tms are mandatory...
i forgot, this is only my sixth post ever on the internet, so i am not computer savy enough to post picures. but i will see if my brother in law can help me, he is a little more of a computer nerd than me. i hope to get the truck home with in a week.
