What exactly are you referring to? 8, 12,24 bolt refers to the wheels themselves. The beadlock part of the HMMWV's wheel is the run flat as earlier mentioned
Nothing is beyond restorable. And the reason that other guy wants $695 is because he knows that every time one gets destroyed the rest left still out there go up in value.

What does it say on the data plate? Maybe they still use m116 for the flat bed trailer but I would think in that configuration it would have to be M116a4. Don't those 1101/02 trailers have torsion bar suspension? Or are they still leaf springs.
I don't see anywhere in the OP's original post that he was driving off road, nor do I see anywhere that he states this truck was recently bought from a government auction. Could be a legally titled HMMWV. Why don't we just stick to the OP's problem and not speculate about weather or not he is...
That is correct. But you must use a manual switch somewhere inline so you can shut off the fan in deep water. I do not know the CUCV well enough to know how close the stock fan is to the rad. but on some vehicles if the fan is close enough when the blades hit the water and pull them selves...
If you buy a set from an individual ask them to remove the screws holding them together first. I've had more than one that the steel screws in the aluminum housing were so corroded that they would not come out and snapped off in the housing.
I used to think that old tale was " hog wash", till the last Jeep I bought ('99 TJ) I had the tranny flushed and sure enough it started slipping.
Drop the pan, change the filter and re-fill with fresh fluid but do not let someone talk you into flushing it out.
