I had a "no start" problem with my deuce when I had it. There is an excellent trouble shooting guide/step by step process in the TM. Your problem could be any number of things and your going to get a number of different answers on here. What I did was print off the pages I needed then took...
You could make your own but the problem is that the top plate in combination with the rest of the numbers is what holds them all together so just one set of numbers wouldn't really do any good.
Federal law on a air assisted hydraulic system? When was the last time someone had DOT do a full inspection on the their deuce?
The leak? Not something I would lose any sleep over but something to checkout when you have some free time on a Saturday. (Pressurize the system and break out the...
You would also want to make sure that truck is tied down securely inside the container. There is a reason they want those vehicles tied down on a flat car the way they do. I don't think you'd be very happy when you open the container to find your truck smashed at one end.
The "per mile" cost may be better than shipping by truck but the cost to load and unload is the deal breaker, at least that's what I've heard. ( unionized labor to load and unload) I wouldn't do it just because of the vandalism aspect.
Is there anyone traveling between these two states or passing by on the way somewhere? I have a towbar and adapters that need a ride from north east Ks to north east Ky.

I knew I've seen the pic you were referring to ( or something similar). After an hour or so searching here it is.
*edit*. From this thread: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?57171-m101a2-dump-lights-Conversion
Swiss, you don't get it do you? HMMWV's are not vehicles, they are just a piece of military surplus equipment. Doesn't matter if it's a 25 year old HMMWV or a 2.5 year old HMMWV. The memo say that they are looking to see if it's a viable option to surplus these pieces of equipment to some...
Keep looking for 24V lights. they are easy to find once you know where to look. On a simple bulb you can hook two in series to operate on a 24v like you said but doing that with headlights with high and low beams is going to be more confusing than its worth.
*edit* I miss read your post...
