Solution:
I did some deep diving on Ag forums and found some other check valves in the transfer pump/governor. I pulled the check valve off the back of the pump, this is the output side from the pump to the fuel filter. I removed the adapter plug and fished the plastic bit out which was a solid...
Yes can confirm, it's also below the fuel line. Pressurizing the fuel tank with air and cracking the line that goes into the governor/IP gives me solid fuel flow (and a mess). :ROFLMAO:
I pulled the both lines on the IP to check things out. The intake primer ball was in good shape but there is no strainer like in the video. The return/output line has the check valve and it's stiff. I've got it soaking at the moment. Unfortunately I don't have fuel that far to check it at the...
I can't justify spending money on something that I'll slam closed and splatter Dr. Pepper all over myself or cab. Neat design but there's a reason why most cupholders are in the center of the vehicle these days.
Welcome back! I was digging around your CUCVII posts and even sent you a few PM's to see if it would resurrect you but I didn't have Admin power apparently.
I've read the TM's and covered the dozen or so related SS thread regarding fuel prime on these M35A3 trucks but I fear my issue has surpassed the TM troubleshooting steps and into deeper water.
This M35A3 fired up momentarily when I first cranked her. She turns over quick. She does fire on...
I'm having to troubleshoot crank no starts at the moment. One is electrical and the other is missing the fuel tank pick up tube and check valve. Does anyone have a parts truck? My marts truck doesn't have a fuel tank which is totally Murphy on that one. 😅
M915A1 is immediately out especially on stock tires. Even with 395's you've got all your weight on the front axle that isn't powered so more reason to pass. If you're wanting something that's ready to go a M816 or M936 (preferred) would fit the best. It has the weight, weight distribution...
The other option is look for a set of 11r24's off a M916/M920 if you like how it handles right now. They're very close to a 14 and you can dual them up of course.
Howdy dbduchene,
Most people go with the M1078 unless you plan to stretch it like you said. @ramdough bought a M1083A1 from me and just had his stretched for his build. Like Simp said, I have a few models on hand. I also have an M934A1 if you're trying to cut to the chase and start doing the...
I agree with NDT. The "saddle" tanks makes it either a dump or tractor and with it having a PTO but no winch (assuming it's not been removed since factory) leaves it to be a dump. More pictures the better we can tell.
