I would get yourself a set of line fittings the size of the ones that screw into the master cylinder with some short lengths of tubing that you can put a flare on the same as are on your existing lines. Crimp or have the line ends welded and screw them into the connections on the master cylinder...
Check the level in the plastic reservoir. On some plastic reservoirs I've seen on cars and some trucks with one cap the reservoir is partitioned inside and you can lose half of the fluid but not the other half. Just an idea....
Has anybody read the article??? It says that they used statistics from the 1950's up.....its bad data to begin with....and it already has been proven that:
"LIFE CAUSES DEATH IN LABORATORY PEOPLE"
Really....what do you want to haul a camper trailer for if you have the van body????? Your camper is built right on the truck already....you just have to furnish it.....
Usually when the oil cooler goes bad it will puke antifreeze/oil out the overflow due to the oil pressure being greater than the cooling system pressure. Nothing like seeing "melted ice cream" pouring out the overflow.....and yes, I'd only do one hole.....or get the parts and do it yourself. Its...
Funny but I just went and reread your first post and didn't see it.....but then again I am kinda old and my eyes are going..........Where in the thread is it mentioned???? I just want to make sure my eyes aren't playing tricks on me.
I'm confused.....why is the dogbone lengthened????? And how come you can't replace the bushing in the I beam style???? I thought the bushings were replaceable in both designs. And the tube welded on the one on your truck made it longer???? When the distance between the axles should be standard...
In marine applications you always put the disconnect on the positive circuit. This is to prevent a floating positive which can cause electrolysis and the next thing you know your components in contact with water start to corrode. This is especially true with automatic battery chargers that keep...
I had it once.......it was really bad and burned when I peed....but a dose of penicillin cleared it right up..........oh wait.......WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?????? Those emails?????? I got them also......I thought either the site was hacked or patracy had finally lost it.........I still have...
I would think you would probably make it worse for yourself if you ran the 24volt plus through a remote solenoid like that and then to the starrter. Every connection will give you a voltage drop across it and eventually your resistance would get higher over the remote solenoid and this would...
We have machines in power plants also. We used to have them at the nuke plant but they went to a filtering system because they needed a new bowl bottom and didn't like thr price. Boy, what a mistake they made. From last I heard they are spending more on filters then when they had the separators...
It depends on what you consider EXPENSIVE.......and you can only buy the parts from the manufacturer (us) unless you go aftermarket.....if they make aftermarket parts for that machine. But since it is such a small unit I would be surprised if they did.
Also, if you buy it and you call to buy...
Do you have a serial number for the OTB2??
Thats a nice little machine.
Its a solid bowl or take down machine and not a desludger. So you'll have to clean it once in a while or whenever you shut it down.
Look at the bowl carefully and make sure there are no pittings. Pittings can be the death...
You bought a tramp oil separator. If they are anything like the ones we sell (Westfalias) the coolant (heavy phase) is water based and is a pump discharge and the tramp oil (light phase) is gravity discharge because ther is not that much oil in the coolant. This could create problems for you...
I'd worry more about the zero oil pressure than the leaky seal at this point in time. Put a mechanical gauge where the oil pressure sender is and see if there is any pressure at all.
