When we took the van enclosure off the non-runner parts truck, PowerstrokeNC brought his FMTV wrecker and we used the crane to pull it off. I don't have any way to move the enclosure yet, so it is being used as storage.
Thank you for posting this, good info! This past weekend at the Denton rally a member brought his M1079 and a couple of us were watching as he pulled into Wheelspinner's house and maneuvered around. It seemed to rock-n-roll more, but that was a very limited observation. It may be that the...
LOL yeah you are in about the same boat that I am. I want to use that box one day maybe, but who knows. The bed could probably be removed from the M1082 fairly easy. Those "bolts" on the frame are huck bolts and you can forget removing them with a wrench or air impact. If you don't mind...
OK here is a link to my photos on Dropbox. It will be available for 7 days, download anything you want to keep.

In one of the videos in Uwharrie you can see Michael finds an easter egg, probably left over from one of the...
Yeah that's what some thought, until they fired that first shot! It takes a couple shots just to get used to the percussion wave hitting you, so I say you need at least 4 shots to really get the feel for it, ha ha.
definitely the cold start canister. It's available from Napa, part# 33118. That reminds me I need to replace mine (it's empty). BTW, it was good to meet you at the Denton rally. Look forward to seeing this truck!
This year was awesome. It was only my second year and I had a blast. Big thanks to Garbee for the MKT; I feel like having the food onsite makes a big difference. The shooting range was a great addition and shooting the .50 cal was a lot of fun. It was a Bushmaster bolt action. Protip: wear...
I thought about that too. As long as the park doesn't mind the water usage, that would maybe be cool. I pressure washed mine over the weekend and it made a huge difference. You could definitely charge for your "truck wash" LOL.
The single combo valve is really like two separate valves in one big valve body. I think the only shared air connection between the two parts of the valve is the one interconnect that ties the trailer and park valves that jjb mentions. You could still do some creative plumbing except for that...
Right, but I got one of the combo units for $25 shipped :-), and they are rebuildable. My trailer valve was leaking a little, but it stopped, so I haven't bothered worrying with it yet.
I'm interested in this. I bought one of the one piece valves a while back while they were cheap. I was waiting until my dash valve(s) started leaking before making the swap. As for the benefit, for me the benefits would be that 1. the one piece valve is rebuildable, 2. The one piece valve...
That gives me some ideas. Have you tried a white LED strip for interior lighting in place of those two RV porch lights? For a while I used a rechargeable under-hood work light in the cab.
