    Lighting / electrical problem

Download the TM's from the download section here if not already done so. The headlight switch controls the turn signals and other lights. However you stated no warning or buzzer so I would check the Master switch And wires behind it. Have seen where the switch would power some things but not all...

    1951 M37 with engine knock

Sounds like it needs to come apart. Your compression readings are low. Hard to say about a knock we can't hear. Most likely a broken piston skirt or wrist pin Walking out. I'm not going to say it's a common problem But have seen it on more than one engine. Tom

    M37 defroster

There was a knock out in the dash. The only way you will find one, is a salvage dash or make one and Weld it in. Tom

Hydroboost Repair-Leak Fluid Drivers Side Floor

If your refereeing to the hydro-boost unit the difference is in the plumbing connections. One has American threads (early 73-78?) The rest (later 79-on) has metric threads. TGP

    Thoughts on this M1028A2

Hey Rusty They all have Dana 70HD rears and 205 T-case. The black 77 was bought new. First year for the K30 The blue 84 was bought new. The OD 86 was converted in 91 at/by TEAD and has all the exact components As the two factory models with the exception of they added rear sway bar. No K30...

    Thoughts on this M1028A2

Not sure about that information, but I have a stock 86 M1028A2 converted in 91 at TEAD and the rear fenders are Exactly the same as my 77 K30,79 K30,and 84 K30. I have seen some M1028A2's with aftermarket rear fenders installed. Not sure who done those or where they came from. I do agree...

    timing M-37

Glad you got it running. FYI You obviously are running a electric fuel pump. Remember you can only supply 4-5 lbs. (6.5-7 Max) pressure to the Carb. or It will overwhelm the needle and seat and flood. The system was designed to run on 4-5 PSI. Not sure what pump you are using. Tom
