Is this a military system? If it is it should only go in one way.
If you didn't turn the engine over while the Dist was out it should g
Go back in time.
If you did rotate the engine then start over as mentioned earlier.

Carb flooding or possible mild vapor lock issue ( gas boiling in fuel line or bowl)
Make sure you have a heat shield on the fuel pump, route pump to carb fuel line
As far away as possible from the manifold(make new line).
Manifold heat in "summer" position.
Also Carb float level setting on...
Anytime the indicator light comes on for no reason on these square box GM trucks
It's always a ground problem and usually at the front park/turn light of the side
In question.
Also most of the time, the park light of the offended side normally don't illuminate in park
Or headlamp modes.

Got a plate bracket with light from Napa.
Mounted it on the rear left splashguard up high under the bed.
Changed the bulb and wired it to the tail lamp.
Oh for good measure sprayed some OD on it to cover the black.

Studs is far superior than a bolt in a soft casing.
If the bolt works loose which happens more than being seized by rust the threads wobble out
The soft casing.
Just better clamping force.

ORD or a quality fastener store can get what you need.
Works for me just easier to align and...
Wow!
Would love to know the history of that truck.
Heavily modified.
I would definitely make sure of the voltage before I hook anything up!
Looks to me if that is a push button switch below the BO Switches
It's probably for manual glow plug control.
Need to verify.
Is that a serpentine belt...
You don't take the column apart.
The switch is mounted to the outside of the column by the Ign. switch under the dash.
Follow the above post.
You can also search U-tube.
Many videos there detailing the process.

Well
It wasn't that way from the factory was it?
Grey or black is how GM replacements came and no one took the time
To Paint.
And it's not Burgundy it's supposed to be Bronze
The 4L80E is just a glorified THM 400 with OD and Electrics.
Still should last more than 60,000 mi.
They are very finicky about proper line pressure.
and heat
Nice Job .
Now I understand the origins of your Handle! ;-)

That is definitely a Dana 80 rear and Dana 60 super front.
Nowhere ion this link will you find a Dana 80 front, rear only.

Your truck your choice to do what you wish ;-)

You need to make sure he (axle seller) knows what he is talking about.
Dana 80's are not in Ford F550 or any other brand 5500.
There also is no Dana 80 front anywhere.
Dana 70 front in the late sixties early seventies, then Dana 60,Dana 60HD, and Dana 60 Super since.
Ford used Dana 50 in the...
I'm still waiting on what front axle he is going to use.
Ok, a Dana 80 rear is boarder line, Dana 110 much heavier, but there is no Dana 80 Front.
All the F 550 have a Dana 60 HD or Super front Axle which is too light.
Tom
As mentioned many times Burgundy is not the correct color.
It is too bright or to red. Same as maroon.
The original color is
OEM Code 76WA5EN7465,W5A7465
GM DK Bronze(LG)
What I used was Deltron 2000 mixed by my local parts store.
Tom
Correct.
That's my point.
He said a Dana 80 from a F550 ferd.
All the 550 I have seen run the Dana 110 or the newer American axle chink copy.
Also just my opinion a Dana 80 in the deuce weather bobbed or not is too small
And will seriously degrade the truck value!
