Why not replace the 24v solinoid
With a 12v sol. do away with the
Under dash relay?
The load terminal lugs are the same.
Only the coil winding is chagned.

It is the GM Manufacture label. GM Part #15596026
Has the Gross vehicle weight and tire size.
Classic industries has replacements, you will have to type in the information.

Check the cluster ground by the parking brake.
Also the headlight grounds at the core support.
More importantly check the ground at the Parking light bulbs.
Have seen more than once on all 70's and 80's C/K trucks loose this ground and illuminate the turn indicator.

That's Great that Bob can help you.
He is a one man operation so you need to give him time.
Very knowledgeable and all around nice guy.
I just received an Diff.parts order from him Friday.

Count me in for One or two depending.
It amazes me that out of all the re-pop decals the aftermarket parts vendors offer, no one does the visor decal for any GM truck.
The correct "J" code emission decal for the air cleaner and other truck decals are available but no visor decals.
Tom
You must be missing the support bracket at the other end of the starter motor?
Or it was loose?
That appears to be the earlier direct drive starter not the later gear drive.
Same as your link to O'reilly's
It's late Sorry I didn't read far enough, my bad.
Glad you got figured out.

After five years of owning this M1028A2 finally got it repainted and spruced up a bit.
Still need to install rear mud flaps as required by IL. law and running boards to protect the lower doors and front of rear fenders.
More importantly so the wife gets in easier!
Need to decide if OD or Black?
Tom
Those are made to the inner fender panels and not serviced separately.
Replace the panels or make your own.
Note-If yours are rusted through, chances are, were the inner panel bolts to around the fender will be rusted too, or at least started.
Also when using other than NOS panels, you will...
Got a few more civilian upgrades done, painted the dash pad, door panels, added GM map pouches to the door panels, door upper vent shade visors.
Need to install interior today and get this truck ready for winter.
Sorry this was supposed to be in the What have you Done Thread, been a long...
