    Why not replace the 24v solinoid With a 12v sol. do away with the Under dash relay? The load terminal lugs are the same. Only the coil winding is chagned. Tom

    It is the GM Manufacture label. GM Part #15596026 Has the Gross vehicle weight and tire size. Classic industries has replacements, you will have to type in the information. Tom

    Check the cluster ground by the parking brake. Also the headlight grounds at the core support. More importantly check the ground at the Parking light bulbs. Have seen more than once on all 70's and 80's C/K trucks loose this ground and illuminate the turn indicator. Tom

    M1009 decals & stickers

    Count me in for One or two depending. It amazes me that out of all the re-pop decals the aftermarket parts vendors offer, no one does the visor decal for any GM truck. The correct "J" code emission decal for the air cleaner and other truck decals are available but no visor decals. Tom

    You must be missing the support bracket at the other end of the starter motor? Or it was loose? That appears to be the earlier direct drive starter not the later gear drive. Same as your link to O'reilly's It's late Sorry I didn't read far enough, my bad. Glad you got figured out. TGP

    After five years of owning this M1028A2 finally got it repainted and spruced up a bit. Still need to install rear mud flaps as required by IL. law and running boards to protect the lower doors and front of rear fenders. More importantly so the wife gets in easier!
