Never had issues with them even with all the dust and dirt and two theaters of use / Did blow up one when the camera had short and it made a very loud Bang
Thanks but there is still nothing on taking the selector valve off to replace the small oring, on the inside of the valve ( suspected culprit ). Looks like there is a pin under the selector valve that holds the valve together
I did some searching but cannot find how to get the selector knob off of one of my Valves, it seems it has a slow drip and from what I've seen I need to get the knob off to get at a small o-ring in the valve assembly. With the huge price markup on items for these trucks, I don't want to break...
Thanks for the info, Im curious about the DEX VI is that another viable solution? I ask because the spreadsheet mentions Dex III and Mobile ATF D/M . Just wan to make sure I change it out with the right fluid when I do it
So my 1078 has 17500 ish miles on it, it is 1994 so I'm a little leary of swapping out fluid when the transmission has had oil in it for 30 years / I know it's better for it but I get scared it will screw the transmission up . Thoughts on people doing this with these older trucks
I checked the resistance in the sender and all I get is OL nothing changes /
I fixed it..... I suspected the float was stuck so I removed the Phillips screws and pulled it up checked the resistance and it was present, I re-installed the sender / connected the plug, and now it is reading again

Working the other day, who knows lol , seems they always want us to chase a bug , only thing I did different was raised the cab today and swapped out the cab suspension bags with a pair of the upgraded type
Started truck today noticed the fuel gage was reading past the Empty mark, I know it has fuel as I filled it before I park it last . When turning one the main switch the gauge seems to be grounded as the level moves slightly to empty . Amy one ever seen this ? Maybe my sending unit is stuck ...
