Another question towards the system, I have the shorter style airpack. When i eventually go to the dual system, does it matter if the second pack is the same style, or can the longer style be used? Anyone got any idea?
The flange will just pull off, mine did. You may need a light slide hammer to break free. There should be a rubber washer, with grooves in it to match the threads on the shaft. It can be lightly coated with silicone to aide in sealing. Order that and the main seal. I don't recall what I paid...
Would this be close to a working dual master cylinder versus the hard to get, hard to buy a3 master?

Not gonna crap talk, but 5k is way off. In the way of hemi's, I've personally bought and installed two 5.7's in JK wranglers and bought each, with transmissions for under 2k. One had less than 12k miles on it. Price depends on who you go see. Get to know a local salvage yard, put your name down...
I'm 6-6, so I just cut that out the other day. Much better. I have the adjustable captains seat base and it went back about 2 more inches, and lowered it so I can look through the middle of the glass versus tilting my head sideways lol. Ill be adding new seats soon though and I am planning on...
Well hello neighbor, lol! Yes you can just connect a section of 5/8” hose to those ports and create a loop for the coolant flow. About 3 feet would probably be enough to make a loop and not kink. No money required. Happy to help.
Emergency fix is trace those two hoses from pic #2 back to the block. One up high, one a little lower, put a loop of hose between the two ports. Done. I just replaced my entire heater section, core, hoses, valve etc. I got rid of the leaky steel pipes in between the core and the engine. Hope...
I too have been looking into this. Check out mortarinvestments.eu. Its overseas but they can give you good quotes on costs of vehicle, shipping, cleaning etc. Could be a good option and the stock changes so you could luck up.
I don't think you would have to modify the existing mount, but add a beefy bracket to mount the second one up. Use some heim joints and a rod to connect the two to each other and the pedal. For non winch folks could be possible. I'd love to have duals, but the parts availability and the lack of...
Has anyone tried a new mockup with two, standard master cyclinders, side by side with a double plunger, connected by a through rod to the brake pedal. It would take some metal work underneath, but if you could adapt it that way, then add another aipack for the second master seems like it could...
I will have have some deuce parts: drivetrain covers from interior floor including the rounded section in front of shifter, the shifter section and the rear transfer case section. Good condition. $8 each. I also have good shape headlight bucket frames, the large section on either side of front...

The second tm has the info on it. Section 3-1 engine systems, starting at 3-59. But basically you run engine with heater on full...
I would say my result from auction were better than some. Notes stated it would crank but not start. Bid and won having only looked at pics, carefully. 4k. Shipped via Us of Freight for just over 1k. I replaced the mechanical fuel pump and put in new batteries. Fired right up. The front...
