What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Awesome. For the sub if you're not looking for a super expensive competition set up get a Car Dual sub kit. They have on that's a 10 inch sub 300 Watts output. The amp is made inside the box. The only wiring you do for it is the ground, power, and outputs from the radio. The controls and...

I definitely see your point Tim. I have almost been hit in my truck and in other vehicles (all large stuff no cracker boxes at my house). That's why I keep a triangle set, flares and orange flags in my truck and have plenty of marker lighting on the flatbed. I think I will set something up like...

Ok. I have been welding since I could wear the hood and hold the stinger so I sort of forget not everyone can weld in their sleep. Lol Bullydog uses those mounts for most of their jacks I'm 99% sure.

Looks cool. Why are you making the truck glow in the dark? Just wondering

For a trailer Jack I go to TSC (tractor supply). Just get a heavy duty one and weld your own bracket up if you have to. You can weld right?

That's the same filter base I used to do mine. Did you get the filter with built in water separator? The only thing I didn't do was fuel pressure gauge. She should roll on nicely with the 3:73s and still have enough to tow. Ugh wiring issues are the worst. I can wire just about anything 12...

I heard that. Always something to be worked on. Truck, boat, atv, utv, house, yard, anything. Just not enough hrs in the day, but such is life.

    CUCV recovery kit - recommendations?

Me too. Good luck and remember to take pics along the way. You might as well make it a fun trip and stop at points of interest to you.

Put it in 4by and use front wheel drive to get you off the interstate.

    CUCV recovery kit - recommendations?

A good battery impact, sockets, a few wrenches and a ratchet. Bottle jack and boards, fix-a-flat, jumper cables, screw drivers, a roll of electrical wire, duck tape, super glue, flares, fuel can, bailing wire, flash lights (not cheap junk ones), water, snacks, cash. If possible about 20 ft of...

CUCV Snow Plow Trucks and Spreaders

Oil is cheap so if she starts run her. My grandpa had a Ford f350 crew cab dually 2x4 that he pulled his camper with at the last. It has that 7.3 power stroke diesel in it. Well him and grandma would stay the winter in Florida in their camper and use the truck when they where down there. Most...
