Hey everyone. I know it's been a while since I posted up so I figured I would.
I have been running the snot out the green machine. The IP is holding up great, diesel care in Memphis did the rebuild btw. They are a great company to do business with.
I have been on a few all day runs lately...
Is tach your looking at digital? Most of those I have seen are, if you want a faster read out then analog is your friend. The one I use is analog.

Good looking truck hopefully it will be a good rig for you.
On the tachometeri would look into the autometer tiny tach for diesels. They have one that uses a small sending unit that you clamp to the outside of one of the alts. Check eBayfor those.

Thanks.
I finished the bottom half this morning and it loosk great. Get a pic in a bit. I then drove the truck to the store to get some grub and I really like it. The rope is cooler, you get some air between your fingers, and gives you a better grip on the wheel. Now I just need a way to cool...
Drove the green a little. Sat for almost a week, ran good though. I definitely blowed the dust out of it, 65+ mph a lot.
Then I started working on the steering wheel
