Ran mine hard this afternoon. Ran it about 3k to Dickson and back again with basically no issues, might need a new fuel filter but that's all good

Time for a new guy in the trash pile lol.
That's why I like my flat bed. The hitch is all tied into the frame, bed, and actual tube is welded and has 2, 1/2in Allen bolts. I have pulled the tractor sled at the pull twice with no issues

I always lube the seal and it comes off fine with a band style wrench. I have had to use a pipe wrench on oil filters (on a different engine) because someone cranked it down super tight dry.

I love my federal couragiers in 285-75-r16. They dig great in the mud and hold the road well.
My dad runs 265-75-r16 bfg all terrain TA ko2 on his 2000 Chevy 3500. He was getting about 60k out of them, and that is will hard use. He pulled trailers almost daily, gooseneck and bumper pull. Pulled...
I don't have to worry about Google getting pics of my house. My house doesn't face the road and is surrounded by trees. The only thing that Google earth satellites can is see is my pool and dads shop.
I was getting Direction's to a friend's house, since I'd never been to his house. On Google...
Today I drove the snot out my truck. I went up to Dickson TN in it, went highway 70 all the way Instead of the interstate. I made great time anyway, running that cucv at about 3k RPM a lot and was running from 45-75 depending on where I was at. In town was slow but on the open stretches I let it...
Well I pulled the old wiper motor off yesterday evening and got a new one today. 50 bucks at autozone and it has the life time replacement warranty. I got everything buttoned up and the new wotor works great. Now I need to find a washer fluid tank. Mine is busted and autozone said they don't...
Thank you
He's the one that taught me a long time ago that if you do a job for someone else do it liked you do it for yourself. I guess thats why with somethings my level of detail I want is impossible to reach. Lol.
You'd probably get along with my dad, he doesn't know much about the cucv and...
Dad always told me when a head comes off a engine you have it decked, rebuilt, boiled, magnafluxed, and the valve guides and seats polished

Run a straight edge across the top of the leafs in the front and measure the distance to the top of the pack. Do that on both sides, you could have a weak spring. You uses new springs up front right? Even if they are new it could still be weak.

Last night I pulled the metal thing behind the hood and the plastic panel under that so I can work on the wipers. I sprayed the linkages down with pb blazer and messed with them and they loosened up a bit but the motor is basically brunt up. It gets so hot you just about can't touch it and will...
I want to build a set of those tube doors like rock crawlers use and I think I am going to use either Allen or shoulder bolts with lock nuts instead of pins. I read the link again and came up with that idea. I can then mount me some mirrors to the tube doors. I will use them around the house and...
Thanks for the offer. Next time I'm in Ohio we have to get together for lunch or something. I just now need to con my dad into going to Ohio lol

Ok. Why a new cab?
Here is what I am going to do to my truck eventually. I think the no doors and flat bed look cool all it needs now is a visor. http://ck5.com/forums/resources/quick-release-door-hinge-pins.33/
