Thanks. No. My uncle is a painter by trade and he sprayed a construction trailer he has 10 years ago in Liquid Vinyl exterior paint and it’s held up really good. Heard of others using Baer paint as well. So I grabbed a color deck and settled on Sherwin Williams 6181 Secret Garden.... it’s about...
I was surprised how good it fit. It’s just setting in there now. I need to figure how I want to mount it. I thought about using bar stock or channel and link it to the inner mounts for the existing seats.......i’ll Let you all know how it goes.
Hey all,
Finally got her painted. Now for touch up and such. The old man that had this had a 110v a/c unit on the passenger side of the overhead a/c. It didn’t work so I pulled it out and installed a 8x16 inch basement window vertically.....side benefit????? When it’s open it forces the air from...
Thank you all for the added input.
I just want a durable barrier between my darriere and the vinyl come summer. In addition my seats are in really good shape so I thought I’d preserve that for a bit as well.
I’ll continue the hunt. :-D
Hello,
I was wondering if any of you had a recommendation for a quality bucket seat cover for my M1010?
i just did the dash and will install my carpet kit this weekend, but it’s going to get hot soon and the thought of sitting on a vinyl seat this summer doesn’t sound pleasant.
There is so much...
Thank you ll for the ideas? I had thought of using spacers or a 2” stock to lift the seat. My concern is I like the pitch so raising the back and not the front might feel weird.
I may weld up a bracket for the rear because if it raise the front the since it’s at an angle the rear holes won’t...
Hey All,
Quick question for you all. I have my interior out for the new dash OER (POS) and roll on bedliner and then carpet with mass backing. Dang cab to TOO LOUD.
Question part. I feel like I’m a little kid driver grandpa’s truck. I’m 5’9” and it feels like I’m in a low rider. Anyone ever...
Glad to hear you got her going. I just purchased an M1010 myself in Grand Junction. This post has inspired me to dig into the electrics a bit more and post pics of what’s been done to mine.
Bonus for me, my rear heater had fuel but would’t Fire. Now from this post I know it has its own fuel...
Crap! I was stripping my dash with a sonic tool yesterday and was down to the foam residue when I got pissed and just ordered the OER in black from Jeg’s for $289 with free shipping. I should’ve checked here first.....they bare metal painted doesn’t look bad at all.
I’ll let ya’ll know how it is...
Wow, good info from all of you. We ultimately decided to not go with those rims as my uncle has a spare set of 2003 factory Dodge 8 lug aluminum 17’s. I’m worried the offset is too deep and the tires will rub the box when mounted to the rear. I’ll report back and let you all know.
thanks again
