    M11XX series, remove snout/rebuild front

I am with you on the looks, i like the shorter nose look better. As mentioned before, get a 998 or 1123 and swap a turbo wngine on it. Big difference, i did.

    AC condenser relocation

Hey guys, i am back again with questions and ideas. What would be the general consensus on installing the Red Dot condenser on top of the radiatior in the engine bay area (picture is for reference) of course, i would be installing only the core and the electric fan x2. I do have enough space...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

They did, even though FEMA was already on site, there was a church and a fire station at the end of the ialand that they really appreciated it. They say probably they were forgotten as supplies didn't make it that far. The seats are not brand specific, i bought them either from amazon or...

    Communication cable or....?

My idea was to keep the connector original and pick and peel some wires out of the ICE harness usable for power instead of running wires all the way back to the battery box for a cleaner look. Probably i will remove the exisitng harness and run new stuff through it or leave it unmolested and...

    Communication cable or....?

Need advice/help to repair screw holes on front window frame.

My rails did not lay flat either and had to move them around a bit and do some drilling. That also pushed me to use rivnuts instead as i was not trusting the rubber insert with the force the rails were applying to it.

    Communication cable or....?

If i were to buy the cable that connect to this connector, what is this called? Radio cable? Communications cable? I have searched the TM's but i might have missed this section. My idea is to connect a couple of accessories from here instead of running new wires to the battery. If i am wrong on...

Need advice/help to repair screw holes on front window frame.

Yes, i used 1/4"-20. Did not have to expand much, or honesly just clean the hole.

Need advice/help to repair screw holes on front window frame.

While a wellnut is the correct part, i expanded the hole and installed a rivnut. Happy with the results.

How long should it take a humvee to warm up?

When i started driving my truck around the block (not tag at that time) i never heard the fan kick in i thought was quiet until i went for a longer trip. Around the block it never raised to 180 degrees. Not sure it will do in a parki g lot.

60 Minutes has a story of military vehicle accidents. Tonight NOW west coast.

Agree on everything, however, here in south FL it is hard leaving a distance in between cars. It doesn't matter if ypu are pulling a boat or driving a humvee and leaving the safe distance to stop, people down here will get in no matter what.

    Shaking above 65MPH

Well, honestly i have not taken the wheels to balance. I really thought that will the runflats would be nonsense. Will try balancing them and check if any difference

    Shaking above 65MPH

Last weekend i did a trip to Tavernier, Fl from fort lauderdale and while the teip was really nice and a success, the ride was only confortable at around 55-60 MPH. Anything above that the truck started shaking and jumping as wheels not balanced. At around 40 MPH was also shaky. A little...
