I've had to pull the door hinges off of trucks to get the pins out before. For now, just try soaking with a good penetrating oil. Maybe add a little heat while trying to drive them out. Don't burn the truck down!
Just to help clarify, that knob is there to let fuel flow through if the electric solenoid ever quits working. If you turn the knob to "off" and the truck won't run, the solenoid needs replaced.
I've found it's a lot easier for me to get there from the south, so I'll be rolling through cinci. And I've talked myself into leaving tonight. I just have to time it right so the sun is up by the time I need to start reading directions.
I bet we'll have firebase haspin cleared out by...
I haven't decided if I'm leaving tonight so I can get there crazy-early, or just head out in the morning sometime. All my potential co-drivers/navigators left me hangin' and I hate missing turns in the dark.
This is just a note to anyone who finds my trucks "abandoned" anywhere. If I catch you starting them up and going for a little spin, you should be prepared for the consequences.
Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed...
I did have a guy pop the hood on my old 67...

If someone brings a decent chainsaw we can probably drag out a downed tree or three and go to town on it. If I remember correctly, that was encouraged at this park. (No live-tree cutting, though!)
I'd volunteer my saw but it wouldn't cut a watermellon, let alone a tree...
I might could use a few 9.00-20's if the price is right. Don't really need the wheels, though.
I have the yoke, but the seal and plate are pretty wasted. Maybe a few headlights with the older metal connectors.
Let's see... I have big truck load bars. The jack type, and E-track, two...
The wheels have been picked up and are resting comfortably on the little trailer. 8000 pounds is quite a load for the old girl.
Gimp had a few wheels to deal with, too.
I'll try to help with what little I can.
I think the bridge plate should be "04" for an M37. When it's pulling a trailer, the little red "C" should be showing at the top, and the weight class for the trailer is added to the truck's number. Someone will chime in if I'm wrong on any of this.
