Thanks Muddog. The stud is the same as a deuce stud escept that the diamerter of the sholdered section is .840 instead of 1.000 for a deuce stud. The thread length is 1.156, the fastener length is 2.469 the sholder length is .906, and it has 25 ribs on it. The threads are .750 by 16 threads...

Red bulbs
With all the knowledge of fire trucks, does anyone know where to find 24v, red bulbs. I'm looking for the 4" sealed beams for our parade vehicles.

I asked the guys here what a "in the can" motor was worth a couple of weeks ago. It seemed that the opinion of most was around $1500. If your paying half of that for a pair of head gaskets, it would seem a no-brainer to me to go for the 1D with all new accessories (turbo, starter, gen, clutch).
Your probably going to have 1000lbs or so on the tailgate. It will probably hold it. If it doesn't, it will only drop down to the frame if you have it secured in the bed of the deuce. You can always figure a way to get it out when you get home!
A couple of wacks with a sledge hammer at 11:00 AND 1;00 worked for me. It's a tapered shaft so all you have to do is jar it loose and it will fall out.
