    deuce power steering kit

I'm afraid that we may have more requests than we have kits. I am asking all of those who have contacted us to send us a check and we will put your name on the list in the order that the check is received. By the way, if you think that they are too cheap, add a few hundred dollars. We are...

    m353 wheel stud

I considered that but I don't know if you could cut the case hardening. Also, I don't know how you would get the 25 knurls back on the stud.

    m353 wheel stud

Thanks Muddog. The stud is the same as a deuce stud escept that the diamerter of the sholdered section is .840 instead of 1.000 for a deuce stud. The thread length is 1.156, the fastener length is 2.469 the sholder length is .906, and it has 25 ribs on it. The threads are .750 by 16 threads...

    m353 wheel stud

Actually, I've never had the hub off. You don't need to take the hub off to knock out the studs. That part is really easy.

    m353 wheel stud

Thanks for the reply. I've tried all the local truck parts dealers, even the tire places (because they break them and carry spares). I've also tried Memphis Equipment and Murry. I even droped by our local National Guard truck repair facility. I did find a place on line, but they won't talk...

    m353 wheel stud

This must be a hard one. It's the only trailer question I've seen with zero responses.

Cold weather starting issue- starter relay?

Did you notice that one side was from New York while the other was from Virginia? Wonder if that makes a difference in the way questions are answered?

    Anybody around Dallas/help?

You could drop them at my place. There's no security at night but we leave a deuce and some trailers there all the time.

    LDS-465-1A inframe headgasket job pictures

I asked the guys here what a "in the can" motor was worth a couple of weeks ago. It seemed that the opinion of most was around $1500. If your paying half of that for a pair of head gaskets, it would seem a no-brainer to me to go for the 1D with all new accessories (turbo, starter, gen, clutch).

    LDS-465-1A inframe headgasket job pictures

At what point does it become cost effective to just buy a new motor and drop it in?
  18. jimmcld

    Good or bad idea...

Your probably going to have 1000lbs or so on the tailgate. It will probably hold it. If it doesn't, it will only drop down to the frame if you have it secured in the bed of the deuce. You can always figure a way to get it out when you get home!

    M105 lunette removal

A couple of wacks with a sledge hammer at 11:00 AND 1;00 worked for me. It's a tapered shaft so all you have to do is jar it loose and it will fall out.
