85 was first year of Mfg… the casted upper spring bracket is for variable rate spring, which also requires Updated lower control arms as well.

you need to unbolt the panal from the b-pillar, you will find both positive and negative grnd strips, they are wired to 24v. the small 2 post strip is 12v, the red button is the transmission circuit breaker reset.

installed with the correct hardware and bracket, they can still be removed.

The ECV is on,y about 1/2in more than the standard hmmwv lift, the black plastic closeout is part of the mud flap kit.

The only metric anything on a hmmwv is the engine, trans and Tcase , no where else is metric fasteners sizes range from 10-32 to 3/4in….thread pitch is SAE
