ok everybody I was only looking for info on my artic heaters and install advise! If you want to say this and that about this and that fine but please not in my post. I am only looking for info on what I asked for not personal opinions. Info on the heaters only thanks really hard to get the info...
no I did not get the oil/trans pans or the battery boxes. Would be nice if anyone wants to share what they might have as extras I am willing to pay. Looks like I need the electric fuel pump and the fuel lines but that is easy to get from a local parts place. Sasquatch on your electric fuel pump...
I found this on ebay and bought it for 600.00 U.S. can you believe it! anyone with any pics of this system installed or anyone with any info let me know what you know. Looks like i will be needing to get a few more things for it but it is almost complete!
plus one on this as I did what you did. LMC truck is hit or miss on there parts ran into the same issue the seals just dont fit. i tried the dealer and he said he might be able to get some new oem ones, maybe try your local dealer?
I had same issue, I removed the mirror and got some vinyl sheet wrapped that around where the mirror gets clamped on the pole part and tightened it up works great now.
check the fusible links under hood right behind the rear battery where all the wires go. Mine did as you say and that's what my problem was I just replaced it with a circuit breaker.
correct me if I am wrong but are the cucv s not emiisions exempt mine has a sticker under hood saying so? I lived in las vegas and they do emissions testing but I was told by the state that my truck would be exempt I moved to minnesota now so no need to worry but just wondering?
Dont forget to do rust proofing in the doors etc as well different stuff then under coat.

On my 86 m1009 on the tailgate there are 2 cable locating thingys for the support cable, one on both sides these are used to guide the cable in towards the tailgate and away from the bed when closing so the cables wont get pinced on the tailgate sides. Anyone know where to get a new or good used...
