Wow very cool trucks!! I like the picture of Stretch in front of the shelter on the ground. He towers over it!! I'm a big wuss when it comes to mud. I'm impressed at the Deuces mud performance.
Hey maddawg, maybe its the camera but your jeep looks great!! What color is it? Did you tow it...
Geez, I too had trouble finding a major manufacturer that still makes an all steel unit (as well as listing an empty weight on their website.) Most now are steel frame aluminum deck.
Ryan try this: http://www.interstatetrailers.com/specs001.html
Look at trailer model 70PHT. Its a bit...
Welcome! Nice boat. How is that wishbone boom working out? Just curious.
The Hmmv tires look good. Try RAPCO in TX. He's one of the best sources for Gillespie Paints in numerous Mil colors.

Hi,
Here are some pics of the GranndPappy of the M246/M819s, the Federal 606E, Sterling, Biederman etc. Not very good pics but its all I can find. I wonder what the M designation is for that Step-Deck trailer? Looks very similar to the M269/M270.
If anyone knows...

RE: Re: RE: m75
Congrats man.
Have you decided on how to ship it?
Due to the current price of Diesel, would shipping it by rail be significantly cheaper?
Very cool project! What software are you using for your design ideas?
The only constructive thing I can add is that I would delete any shower/porta potty from the layout as its a big waste of space. Even in 40'+ RVs the shower and toilet are rarely used. There are products out there that...
When the F are you gonna' post pictures of that thing!!! 8)
You may want to try Portrayal Press....or you could just access, download, & save a copy of every 5ton manual from this site's TM section for free! Just print it out if need a hardcopy.
Seeing that stuff in action is too cool. Wow that 816 had just enough height to pick it up. Yamahama, the angle of the lift chain is obtuse.
How much do those weigh empty? (couldn't see the text in the photo)
Thanks for the pictures.
Thats a very good price.
Almost any takout with 4-500,000 miles will set you back atleast $3K.
If anyone has serious power questions about 855's, I suggest you contact Pittsburgh Power (formerly Pitts. Diesel Injection Service) They are the experts. We stopped there on the way home from...
RE: Re: RE: FNG Reporting!
What oifvet said!! CUCVs aren't "real" army trucks anyway :P
Before you acquire an MV, hitch a ride on a Trailride with your fellow Steel Soldiers in the NJ Pine Barrens.
If I were to choose between an M54 or an M813.....It would come down to two major things:
1) Engine
2) Looks/Style
I (emphasis on the I, its only one person's opinion) would choose the 813 due to it having the NHC250 and "better looks up front."
I always thought the old 5ton's front grill...
I'm probably not 100% correct here but:
I think when any engine (gas or diesel) is referred to as having oil cooled pistons it means:
That there are nozzles pointing upward below the cylinders that spray oil at the underside of the pistons to keep temperatures down.
I'm sure there are other...
Awww...look at da little ducky :P
And of course its on the opposite side of the country.
Just for kicks.......A little cost comparison....How much would it cost to ship to NY:
By Truck ? (it is overwidth)
By Rail ? (might as well pick up the one in MT while your at it)
RE: Re: Rausch Creek MV Rally 08!! - Oct. 10,11,12
Hi,
Small update: The park's new office hours are 0800-1800hrs.
Thats good news. Previously any group wanting to wheel that day would have had to check in by 1000. This allows the Convoy Serials to have looser scheduling and any...
(Tobexa beat me to it :) )
Tobexa I think you meant that SoCal has dirtier beaches/water due to their direct route to the ocean.
Any place you have urban areas with large areas of impervious surface (paved and roofed area) runoff has an almost direct route to the nearest body of water. That...
