    Axle key-way seal wedges...Help!

I didn't order a kit, just the seals and lock washers. From what I've read here on the search, the Key seals just get made out of gasket material. However, not knowing the correct thickness, makes it difficult to get all the pieces of the puzzle.

    Axle key-way seal wedges...Help!

I am going to be replacing the axle seals in my truck's fwd rear right wheel on Friday. I have all the parts coming from Memphis Equipment, however I was going to order from McMaster-Carr, or go to the local auto parts store and get a piece of rubberized gasket sheet to make the key-way seal...

    Spin-on secondary kits!

John has a pic of the adapters on his motor in the thread for his WTS. They look as I thought they would. Not just yet, but more than likely in a month or so. Then my Continental will be totally Spin-On.

    Spin-on secondary kits!

So is it fair to say that the kits are now available?

    horn works sometimes, sometimes doesn't

I recently changed my steering wheel and along with it, replaced the horn wire lead that connects to the rest of the harness in front of the steering gear box, and the horn button. I upgraded to the newer style. Got the wire leads and the horn button kit from Saturn Surplus. It is an easy swap...

    Differences between 101, 103 &105?

As the title puts it. What are the differences between the three trailers? Is it wheel size, and capacity, or wheel size and actual body dimensions? Also, I'm not entirely sure but are they the only singlle axel trailers besides the M416, and CDN M101? I think there is also an Ammunition...

    Help!winch drum lock lever stuck

My truck required a lot of the small parts to be loosened with Kroil. It is similar to liquid wrench. I was told that the electric companies use it to work on high tension lines. Anyway, it is really great stuff. Loosens everything. If not, the nut unscrews and the poppet comes right out to...

    Running Lamps and Flasher

On the light switch, the first position to the right is your service stop lights. It allows the brake lights to illuminate, and the turn signals to flash. If you place rhe signal arm to the top, and pull out the tab under the arm and move it up again, it will engage the four way flashers. Did...

    m35a2 air warning buzzer

Generally, I gIve the start button a push, and then hop out, pull the wheel chock and do a quick go around. By the time I'm done with that, and gone back into the house to grab my gear, not only the buzzer has stopped, but he truck is warmed up so I can leave. But right around 60 psi, the...

    Radiator hose I.D.

I called Memphis Equipment, their parts department was very friendly, and looked up all the things I asked them about for my truck.

Mid Life "Crisis" required buying m35a2, need pointers

Sounds like a nice ruck, being that the seller took care of things. I am not a Mechanic, but can tinker with the truck, and fix quite a bit, but there are some things I won't go near. However, I found that 90% of the truck can be worked on with the following. I carry a small tool bag with...

Spare tire mounting on a CDN M101 trailer

This is where I bought my mount from. The contact name is Sung Yoon. His e-mail and tel are at the bottom of the page. Iltis There are three pieces to the mount, the actual mount, which is in primer white, the hub with the Iltis bolt pattern(this is what the wheel attaches to), and the hex head...

Spare tire mounting on a CDN M101 trailer

Truth be told, I mounted it there only because I wanted to mount my Fuel can bracketrs on the rear and the other side of the tub front. The only place left was the left front of the tub. Fortunately, the mount allows enough room to still operate the hand brake. If it didn't ,I wouldn't have...

Spare tire mounting on a CDN M101 trailer

Nick, No there is no balance issue. The wheel is still centered over the frame, and the tongue weight is 132 lbs. I set it up so the wheel would not extend past the outside line of the body.

Spare tire mounting on a CDN M101 trailer

Oh that's a Mylar VIN tag I had made to look Military and carry the required DMV info for registration purposes. I didn't want to drill and rivet a tag into the frame so I thought a mylar sticker would be better. Here is a pic...

M416 and M101 trailer lunettes the same??

Saturn Surplus has the Lunette for the M416. And just so I am clear about what is being discussed... Will the M105 Curved Lunette fit the M101 CDN2 Trailer, or is the 105 Lunette too fat in diameter? I am curious as I am trying to raise the Tow Point of the trailer so it will be more...

    towing a M100/M416 behind a deuce

I too, want to tow my 1/4 ton trailer behind my M35, but I need to come up with a design to bolt a plate on the frame and lower the hitch to the same height as the trailers lunette ring. I figure there must be an easy, well made, clean looking design that would allow a plate to mount behind...
