Hey,
The M151A2 would have my extra PRC77 manpack and a GMRS hand held tossed in the ammo box/console. Still having issues with the speaker on the AM2060. Got so ticked off messing with it one day I haven't even fired it up in 6 months! LOL!
Yea, I got that cheesy S3 plastic grill, no sweat if...
I'm fixing to put the 1/3 black on my MoD 109 this weekend. It'll drive you nuts looking for an "official" UK camo pattern like the US does with it's camo patterns. I think it was pretty much a "slap some black on it" camo pattern! LOL!
One of the guys I know is trying to bring a 101 to the Ga...
Little tidbit I found out.
Make sure you chase the threads for the head bolts. The guys that mess with these engines say the head bolt threaded holes near the back of the block are sometimes short on threading. Something about the holes weren't threaded deep enough and the head bolts bottom out...
Signs that I should find another hotel.

Busted beer and liquor bottles.
Car on blocks.
Small pieces of glass from car side windows being busted out.

The place is going to look like Division S6 by the time ya'll are done.
(A) What is the admin freq?
(B) What is the open/common freq?
(C) Will the official rally freq be within the range of common military radios? IE...RT524's,PRC77's?
Thanks
Ya' can cook the paint off a hood if you don't have the exhaust deflector angled on an M880 track recovery vehicle! Ask me how I know!
Does that count? :-D
I used to go to the APG show in the late 90's while stationed up there. Nice show, kind'a stuffy, nothing to do but wander around. I can only imagine it at that Ripkin "museum" thing. LOL! Yea..... Pass.
Your front floors look better than mine did!
Get with Guy, he has great panels at a great price. There's a guy on 838 had some battery box floors in the for sale section. These trucks were put together with a few spot welds and flat panels so they are fairly easy to repair.
That's a sharp looking "68 Deuce! That looks like the old "tan" from the Gulf War instead of the new "sand" color paint.
My suggestion is to download the -10 operators manual and go through it page by page next to your truck. There is a PMCS checks section that will ID critical before, during...
LOL! We used to do that in Germany! I had a thin plank running down the middle held with duct tape and the guys with soft cab tops always had pieces of mop handles in theirs to cut down on the flapping on those long hauls.
Sharp Deuce! I miss mine from way back then. Tough old truck!
If you get the chance to get one then do. Yrs ago I thought I wanted a WWII jeep..... till I tried sitting in it! Looked for an M38A1 but they were all rotted from running back and forth in the swamps or Bubba'd and they still wanted too much. I literally fell into my A2 by luck. Stone cold...
Not really. It's even in the manuals about leaving the choke out a bit. It's been beat to death about the whole needing a little choke on G838 by guys who have been messing with these trucks for countless years. Now if you need alot of choke then your idle jet is clogged or your idle mix is off...
I get a lil' smoke at startup only. I guess the stem seals might be a bit hard from sitting 12 years. I'm not worried about it, at least i know the valves' stems are well oiled. You'll get just a lil' bit of smoke on downshift slowdowns because of the high vac in the intake sucking oil past the...
