    Labor for Brakes

Good you are doing it, the 1009 is just a 1/2-3/4 ton brake setup and pretty easy. You should replace the 3 rubber brake hoses also. If you havent done rear drum brakes before you may want to take pictures of how the springs are aranged on the shoes. also look at it before you take it...

Where can i find a manual flywheel?

I had two like new 1992 6.5 flywheels laying around so I bolted one up for my 465 swap, - I got sidetracked, will be a few more weeks before I run it to see if it works or if it goes nuclear. Edit; It is a solid flywheel, You def dont want one of the later 6.5 dual mass flywheels.

    Labor for Brakes

    Another start relay option

The 12V refers to the coil in it that activates the relay, the load side transmits the 24V and lt shouldnt care about 12 or 24 volts- 24v should actually be easier on the relay than 12.

To Rebuild or not to Rebuild TH400

To Rebuild or not to Rebuild TH400

One guy I work with used to work at a transmission shop and he said most of those places run it like its a license to steal. They might use $200-$400 in parts and 4 hours total and charge $2300. Or they find a easy fix and use $ 0 in parts and still charge $2300. Hmm maybe I will start...
