My friend has a 1940 Kearney and Trecker #4 mill that weighs 12K lbs, and he milled out the bellhousing center hole to 5.125 to fit the SM465 transmission.
I will check the bell alignment and if needed I will use offset dowel pins on the engine.
I will have to either reposition that rt rear upper shock mount or I might cut out that rear crossmember and move the tank rearward since I am extending the frame back about 8 inches and adding a new rear crossmember.
As far as the eldorado emergency brake style caliper , I will guess that with the truck actually moving if you try the emer brake and step on it as hard as you can you wont actually notice any braking force. It just looks good on there.

I have a hot rod ac setup from a previous project that i got from southernrods , Im going to put in the 1028. I will have to make some kind of bracket for the sanden compressor.
It has an evaporator-heater unit that will fit up under the dash. The original heater box will get tossed.
I had a local good old boy rebuilder do one of mine and thought he would be cool- Charged me $135 !! for doing just the normal rebuild stuff, all the main parts were fine.
