What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Thank you. I use an airless sprayer that pumps directly from the 5 gallon bucket. I've honed the right spray pressure just right. [thumbzup]

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Did a system function check on the new-to-me M1089A1. Everything works but the rear lift is sticky when lowering.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

    Painted my remaining M936A2.

Does GP now hose down trucks with paint just prior to auction?

*** The Humvee sells with a clean SF97. This means the vehicle is likely owned by a private party and contracted for it to sell through GP.

M936? Is this the right forum?

No worries. I've had 2 M936A2 wreckers already. :driver:

M936? Is this the right forum?

Yes, correct forum. Everything you need to know is here on SS. I watched that one sell today. Drive shaft removed so plan to get it hauled and loaded. A few leaks as stated and likely bad fuel lines for the high idle rpm. Welcome to the club!

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Let the kitty-cat roll with the big dogs today. Fueled up and did some PMCS. Scale said 19,820 lbs. Heavy for a "2.5 ton" truck.

    Picked up 871A3 today

I watched those and they went far too cheap for their condition. Congrats!

    Lincoln, Nebraska - Inspection/Batteries

I have an M1089 in Lincoln, NE that I'd like someone to go look over for me and prep for shipping. Put some batteries in it and make sure it can start to load itself. Anyone around there?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I bought 2 deuces way back in the GL days for cheap while in college. Sold both to SS members to pay for food. Vowed never again to be without some Green Iron and I'm doing my best to keep my vow. I just have a good buffer now is all. rofl Thanks and good idea. I've still got a pair of NOs...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Blasted, primed, and painted these two M817's. Still plenty more work to do on them before I call them done.

HEMTT M977 - Crank, No Start

I swapped out the fuel pump and bled each injector. Crank and fire! The fuel pressure gauge shows 20psi on the secondary filter. There's no lack of power when I drove it around my yard. The radiator was bone dry and the engine oil has water contamination so the next step is to do services and...

I hope he bought more as I reached out to MTP in Feb of this year and he didn't have any 3.07 or 2.87.

HEMTT M977 - Crank, No Start

The governor rod was very stiff and I couldn't move it by hand. It doesn't move when the power is turned on or cranking. In the video the power starts in the off position but because I'm using an LVS buzzer the buzzer likes to stay on regardless of ignition switch position (a problem I'll deal...

Need an LMTV checked out near Richmond VA

I would not plan on driving anything away from this location. All trucks on this lot have been forked into trucks and off trucks to get them here. I've bought 7 from this batch and know the lot manager well so he gave me some good details on the DRMO side handling these trucks. Best bet is bid...
