    Help with side mirrors…

So, what’s everyone’s opinions on which mirrors to run? Obviously my truck did NOT come with the west coast style, but, were included when I bought it. Do I keep the original single mirrors? Or swap out to the West Coast style? Just looking for opinions before I punch holes in my truck for...

    M35a2 Deuce NO START

Maybe a weak Hydraulic Head paired with rebuilt injectors and now the fuel injection pressure isn’t high enough to pop off the injectors.

New to me Deuce with matching trailer - wrenching post

Yes, my order took FOREVER to get shipped, same thing, it sat “processing”. I think mine was close to 10 days, and then like 2-3 in shipping. And guess what, it’s in Ohio just like us!!! It was my FIRST order with them; and also my LAST!

    Help with side mirrors…

Forgot to post these. Nothing major, but here’s what I made the other day. It’s not shaped 100% the EXACT same, but placement of all holes are the correct spacing, but the shape is pretty close by hand. If they were made for a customer I would have spent another hour or so making them...

i know some on here are against it, but I don’t mind burning waste. Here is my current recipe… 60% waste oil 30% diesel 10% gas Mix and then filter to 1 micron. Dump in tank and enjoy!

    Test run

Id have to check the TM to jog my memory, but yeah one of my parts was heat treated and almost welded on. I could see color changes in the metal where things got hot. It was a mess haha But, over all it was easy, and if we didn’t fight the extra hour on that part removal, it would have been smooth.

    M35A2 tan soft top.

I’m hoping this week or next I can visit an Amish guy the next town over, he does custom covers for boats, truck bed covers, etc. He does great work, I’ll see if he’ll give me a price; problem is, I know he’s probably 8-10wks out!!!

My local branch did NOT even question the short VIN. Although mine already had an Ohio title and didn’t need an inspection.

    Test run

My buddy has a 20ton at his shop. Everything came off my mainshaft pretty easily, except one piece, I forget which one off the top of my head. It took some heat and about 16 of those 20 tons! We were standing to the side haha It should have moved just as easy as the others but for some reason it...

New to me Deuce with matching trailer - wrenching post

Interesting. I just registered, and plated mine a few weeks ago! I’m up by Cleveland. Although my title is labeled generic as a Jeep TK(truck). They never asked a single question other than if I was restoring it since it’s a “1969”. Never asked about size, type or vehicle weight . I put...

    Goodyear G272 on M35A2

Isnt this the most common conversion setup for a deuce? How do guys get away from them rubbing, thicker adapters? Especially with larger tires. I only ask because I was planning this setup but this is one of the first time I’ve read the front would rub, and now I’m worried.
