Jeez 6x6....ya see all the trouble you caused?????
i think I can understand why you asked the question. Because you would rather go shopping with a place with more selection.......What I don't understand is how this thread managed to get everybody at each others...
Proportioning valves are only used on disc brakes. What is used is a pressure differential valve. This is only useed so if one half of the braking system fails the spool inside the valve is pushed to one side to activate the switch for the brake light to indicate there is a failure in the brake...
Disconnect the positive battery terminal and put a test light in between the terminal and the cable. Start disconnecting + wires until the light goes out. i'd start with the alternator. I'll bet you have a bad diode......
I guess if you took the catalytic converter and the muffler off it would make a difference in power.......but i think it would be pretty loud in the cab and it definitely wouldn't pass inspection......that is if you could find them to take them off............
If its a throwout bearing it would make a sound whenever the clutch is disengaged with the pedal. Since you said it squeals when the clutch starts engaging and the truck starts to move it sounds like the clutch disc is worn out. I hope I'm wrong.

I know you can figure out how to get that there engine outta there WM......I have all the faith in you......Start using that head for more than a hat rack...... Anything can be accomplished with cookies and sweet tea right????
change the bearing. I've seen that on machines I work on. Tiger is right. This usually would occur if our machines sit for long periods of time or are shipped with their rotating assembly installed in the frame. It probably happened if your truck was flat bedded to where you bought it. If you...
Try turning the crank with a breaker bar and socket off the vibration damper on the front of the engine with the injectors out. This will tell you if the engine is locked up. If you can get it to turn two full revolutions then i would suspect the starter or batteries. the starter and batteries...
That amount is how much your tax dollars paid for it new back when it was made...the $150 is the starting bid and to the right of that is when the auction starts and stops....
That means its running up to high idle with fuel. If it was oil pulling the stop would'nt stop it. The only way would be to cut off the air supply. how high do the rpms go?? To governed speed??
