I was looking for this link yesterday but it was on my home computer.

This has dimensional drawings of the hard top if you maybe work with sheetmetal or know someone who does.
They have some pretty interesting projects on their...
I saw this on a deuce on GL today while trying to entertain myself at work.
Is it a cab heater or not???
It showed a picture of the cab and there wasn't a plenum under the dash.
Just never saw anything like it before.
RJ,
Glad i could help out....just one thing, if the + cable off of that battery is the 24+ and not the 12+ that is connected in series with the other 12 volt batteries minus terminal, the test light will light VERY BRIGHTLY for a little while before the bulb burns out due to most test lights...
RJ,
Do this, disconnect the + battery terminal on the problem battery. Chsarge the battery for about an hour. Whrn you go and put to therminal back on the post if you get or hear sparks you have a current draw on that battery. Take the terminal off the post and put a test light in series with...
I was leaning more towards timing due to your lack of power but after reading this article
Heavy Duty Technology: Piston Failure Analysis: Engine Builder
I would look at your piston cooling nozzles for proper installation and aiming. You also said you had damage in #1 cylinder and you believed...

Spedmom, you might want to get the flywheel cut and also a new pressure plate and throwout bearing. I was always told whenever you do a clutch that you should also replace the pressure plate and cut the flywheel. Just my 2 cents
Clinto, I thought at first it may be wood but looking at all the other trucks in this yard, some with wooden enclosures I think it may be aluminum like what NewMVGuy was saying...or even fiberglas.. unless its got a REALLY GOOD paint job on it...Oh yeah MVGuy, take that off your watch...
Since this is my first post it took forever to figure out how to do it....
Anyway, if the picture attaches to this can anybody tell me what the inside of this box on the back of this truck looks like??? Or even if it has a special designation.
Thanks
Wer you able to restart the truck after you got home???
To lose all three systems like that it sounds like maybe your alternator isn't charging and you ran the batteries down possibly???
Or maybe a bad ground for gauges.......
You have to go from termination to termination of the + wire to ground to determine where you are losing power. Not say the cables are fried. You appear to have a bad connection somewhere.
I think that Wrench Wench has an EXCELLENT idea......and the following day after your romantic interlude you can take your deuce and bury it up to the axle hubs in mud. Then just turn to her and in your most caring, "honey I love you" tone of voice say to her "Honey, go wrap the winch cable...
Take a volt meter and go from the + 24 volts terminal to the - 24 volts terminal and see if you have 24 volts. If not then the batteries are bad. If you do have 24 volts then leave the - 24 meter connection on the battery and go to the back of the disconnect switch. Turn it on and check if you...
the one without winch is only 22 feet 1/4 inches....that leaves 1 foot 3/4 inches of driveway space (If my math is wrong I apologize...I have been mathematically challenged lately...). Just get the deuce and buy the little lady a smaller car!!!
