Hey all,
When you guys are "winning" your HMMWVs, are any coming with active CTIS?
All i've seen or been personally inspecting, have all had the CTIS disabled, or even gone.
My new HMMWV doesn't even have the system, and its a '12 Maine rebuild I bought in '16.
Thanks in advance!
It appears that the pic is the first version of the tray... after some research due to the road grime issue, a second version came out, and it included seals to seal the battery compartment to the hood itself... resolved the issue... that is what I'm going to do.
Thanks all!
Hey all,
Anybody ever moved their HMMWV batteries?
I bought 4 Isringhausen seats with nice bases, and I'd like to get rid of the batteries so I can use the original base and setup.
I would like to have them under the hood for maintenance anyway...
Anybody come up with a different location...
Hey guys,
My friend just got his cover on his M1101 trailer, and the cover was missing 3 clips... and he'd like to have one spare.
Does anyone have some clips I can get, or buy, so he can fix the cover?
Thanks!
Dave Bane
Hey can you document the reinforcements made to the H1 behind the driver and passenger seats, so those of us wanting to get rid of the cross brace can have an idea on what AM General did for the civilian spec?
I didn't even bother with the 4th bolt hole... all three lined up great... and YES get the backing plate...
Its not going anywhere with the three bolts...
Get rid of the piece of junk dryer and install a Haldex...
I had mine die too, while on the road... had to bypass to get it home.... we installed the Haldex acquired off of the bidding site, and never looked back... SO much better.
Heck the servicing instructions on the TM for the original...
It had a little damage, but took it to a heavy truck place that does repair on fiberglass and they fixed it for 600, and sanded it for me for my monstaliner!
I just bought this Turtle Top, while it appears to be a standard Amtech turtle, the rear doors don't look like anything I've ever seen on their units...
Any ideas? I don't have it here as yet... so hopefully its gonna fit! LOL
