I have two of those lines. One hooks to the air supply under the dash and the line has a "gage" I thought it should be guage that when you release the air fill lever, gives you tire pressure. The other is the same thing, but set up with a glad hand for the emergency air line. They work slick for...
These came out of Fort Riley. I never tried the geared lug wrench, I will give it a try and if it helps a lot, I will add it to my deuce's tool bag. If I decide to let it go, I will give you first shot at it. Makes me wonder where the rest of the truck tools went for all those trucks....
Even though I have two of the gage and hose sets, it took several minutes for that one to soak through the fog. Everything was marked Cadillac, is that normal?
The storms were pretty scary, we went to the basement on the third tornado warning of the evening for Salina. They kept breaking off of...
This week we had some nice M923 trucks come in. Today Builderboy stopped by for some goodies and spotted a wood crate in a nice sand truck. He obtained the proper tools from his pickup and we had a tailgate party!
We also found a crate with a few troop seats in it......
I did not realize the...
Sorry Guys.....
Mark wants to get his truck running and I understand that. He has been sending me PMs and he has been calling the yard. I have an extremely hard time shipping anything oversize. My day starts before any of the businesses that ship out open and it ends long after they close. If...
I have everything in boxes for you except the mud flap, it is wider than the boxes I obtained for the muffler, guard, hardware and seat. I still need to seal them up and address them.
We have a loading dock that is full of water. The road to the south yard is passable, but there appears to be...
I am sure the military yard is a horrible muddy mess. We have water standing everywhere. I will still be out the tomorrow, but maybe not all day. Those ankle deep ruts and everything being slick gets very old. Nothing fun about standing in water while trying to work.
Not sure about Lowes.
The bed weighed 2200 pounds.
Unless we get a load of rain tonight, I plan to be pulling hard tops and troop seats tomorrow.
If you guys want to stop by, feel free.
I agree, the Marines know how to use a truck!
20 miles out, it was looking like we were going to get blasted. Six miles out it was still looking ugly for Salina. As it approached the west side it dissipated. Ten miles north east it regenerated and tore up a mobile home. We dodged another weather bullet.
Jay, All of my Kansas purchases had Kansas tax rates. When I bought my M1009 out of Missouri, I was taxed at the Kansas rate. When I bought my M35A2 out of South Dakota, I was not taxed at all.... until I hit the tag office, then Kansas got me.
They will charge you tax at your state's tax rate.
Looks like 1300 miles to haul the truck, 6 miles per gallon at 4 dollars a gallon would be about 866 dollars for fuel alone. $750 seems very optimistic.
The SF-97 cannot be completed until the EUC clears. It was 65 days for my EUC and another...
I took a lot of abuse over the crushing of the M810, I think it is only fair to state that we only agreed to sell it to Nick. No funds were ever exchanged, the truck was promptly claimed as theirs and a thread created. There was no financial losses to Nick or his wife, I never said anything...
We were pulling some small cottonwood trees with the winch on ours, then we decided to move the truck back instead of waiting on the winch. The truck would pull the trees with relative ease. The thing does like fuel though, lots of it...
Guess that is kind of true, if you roll east, there are some really fine homes, 2 million dollar plus homes.... Way out of my budget! I would rather have about 80 acres outside the City and a couple of 50X100 buildings..... along with a six car garage and two bedroom attached house. 8)
