How many miles is an M35A2 and A3 good for?

If you have a look an the tachometer housing of your Deuce you will find that the setting is for 1500 rpm. This simply means, the average livetime is based on 1500 rpm. The usual lifetime of an engine of that design age is between 2000 and 5000 hours (depending on the maker). Or in other words...

How German Weapon tec makes the world a better place

I agree, KMW urgently should change their PR agency. By the way, after the mine exploded, some funny people from the customer side asked Unimog how it could happen that the tire was blown of the wheel.... Funny Question I thinks...And says a lot about those people ordering such stuff...:roll...

The molds of the old Renwal kit are nowadays in the hands of REVELL in Germany. The reissued them several times over the last 25 years, as History Makers or as a Fire truck of the Feuerwehr Dietzenbach or simply as a M62 military model. I have still 2 kits in stock. Wolf

    Bonnet Star

Papercu, a great info. I do not remenber trucks in the early seventies with only stars on the doors. I remember them with a star on the hood and nothing on the doors. Especially in Wildflecken. They painted over the stars with camo colour due to the danger of the Russian snipers. And Wildflecken...

    Bonnet Star

US Army trucks only had the stars on the hood and doors up until the MERDEC 4 color cammo adoption in the 1970's. The star on the hood points forward on post-WWII trucks!!! This statement is correct! And incorrect for some units in Germany! Some used a black star on the bonnet even with...

    Deuce life expectancy.

Oil change intevals: Annually is a good choise. Especially if the truck is driven only short distances. With long distances it is not so critical with nowadays oil. I change on my M715 and my J24 the oil about every 6000 miles without looking for the time. I experianced, it is a good choise...
