Fuel injector Rebuilding/testing and TM and compression testing

Are these the ones that go for about $150?

Fuel injector Rebuilding/testing and TM and compression testing

This is good information. I plan on doing my injectors once I locate a pop tester.

    Fuel Injector Issue-LDT 465

Just an other thought: I use WMO for fuel and my truck likes to warm up before I take off with it... I think it helps the injectors stay cleaner. I could check to make sure my 2 hole injectors do not have one hole plugged or what not when I pull them out. Even if i saw one hole plugged up, I...

    Fuel Injector Issue-LDT 465

I am having some rough idle issues with my LDT-465 as discussed earlier in this thread. I have another set of injectors I thought about swapping in to see how they perform. Pop testing injectors to make sure they are all set the exact same and do not have another other issues is a bug part in...

    M925A2 Roll-Over Angle?

I didn't roll mine over Sally. I slid mine against some rocks at 40 mph. Big difference. haha. Real good way to start a restoration too. I finished it in something like 3.5 months. It was fast!

    M925A2 Roll-Over Angle?

Higher with your tall tires. You could always do the physics of the CG that is shown on your data plate. Crunch some numbers and it might give you an idea. I go with the pucker factor myself. Never steered me wrong yet!

Help me decode my 5 ton

Honestly, I don't even know how to decipher the numbers as to what ones go where on the bumper. I'll just copy my dad's truck with pride :-)

Help me decode my 5 ton

When I get stencils, I'm going to put the bumper numbers of the deuce my dad used to drive when he was in the reserves. My mom found an old picture of him staying next to the truck. I'd put the numbers on my truck and not think twice. Heck, here in Michigan you don't even need to display a plate...

    Strength of fiberglass sides?

Fiberglass sides worked fine when I had my pool in the back of the truck. I had water 2 inches from the top of the racks and they held like a champ. It was somewhere in the neighborhood of 14,000 pounds of water.

    Strength of fiberglass sides?

Clinto: Were the helper springs in the M105 touching? I had a pretty big load of wood in my M105 once, but not nearly that much because I had my cargo cover on and no rear gate. It was as full as I could get it with the cover on and no rear gate.

Old Garage Find: PE-75 Near MINT Genset!

Papabear: Are you looking for another genset? I would trade this genset for a MINT/NOS hardtop for a deuce. My truck is in beautiful shape and is worthy of a MINT/NOS hard top. :)

    Post your H45 heater setups

Has anybody used WMO or a blend of WMO and diesel/kerosene for fuel in these heaters? I would never ever put even a small amount of gasoline mixed with WMO in these heaters.

    Post your H45 heater setups

We only spilled like a cup or two Jerry. One of the doors on the bottom has to be open to let the fuel inlet hose in. These heaters use the fuel control module to control the amount of heat they put out. There is not much to these things. 74M35A2: We should put the air intake to your leave...

Old Garage Find: PE-75 Near MINT Genset!

I am not sure what the freezolium grease is that is indicated on the data plate. I just used regular bearing grease.

Surplus MEP-002A up and running but had/have some issues!

My governor link would rub on my shut off solenoid in addition to the metal shroud. I was fighting two battles with mine. The only position that worked for me was when the governor link was positioned far out on the end of the governor arm. Is this the same position everybody else uses (as shown...

Surplus MEP-002A up and running but had/have some issues!

My MEP-002A had the same issue with the link going from the governor arm to the hydraulic head. It was sticking in the off position when I got it and it did not want to start. After inspection, I saw it was not moving. That is when I cranked it and then pushed the arm a little, it snapped down...

    Post your H45 heater setups

We just tested it outside. There is a fuel control flow meter that I could turn down to low and it was not glowing red on that setting. Only on high it got that hot. I do not plan on using it inside at all. Its too crude of a machine and not safe for that. Its just a toy. :-D

    Post your H45 heater setups

I finally got my H45 heater up and going with help/moral support from 74M35A2. I used 95% diesel as fuel and there was probably 5% of used motor left in the can from before (filtered deuce fuel). We used a piece of stainless exhaust pipe for the chimney and it seemed to work pretty good. I...

    M35a2 stalling when hot?

Exactly. Valves are like kids, when you don't hear them, that is when they are usually in trouble.

Gun Truck from Upstate New York to Columbus Georgia hard ride

You'll be fine John. Im sure you PM'ed the truck and it is all set to go. I drove my Deuce from Binghamton NY to Livonia Michigan and it was about 530 miles. Had no problems at all with the truck but I did almost get rear ended by a semi. The semi swerved and hit the car next to me ripping the...
