Hey Cdub,
I didn't realize you were so close. I probably buzzed you a bunch of times when flying with my friend on some "death wish" flights into Teterboro. Anyway...
The member locator map is neat. Your 5Ton is looking good. Do think you'll have that Cummins in pristine physical...
A big [thumbzup] to Mangus for setting this up for us. I would previously use Microsoft Photo Editor and it would be pixelated and fuzzy when resized. This really preserves the image quality. Thank you.
Testes Testes...1....2....3
Seriously,
Wanted:
I need a crawler loader NOW. Every lead on a machine ends in "already sold." If anyone has information that can lead to the "arrest" of these "fugitives," it would be a big help. I know of some in MI, OH, and MO just thought if...
I like those side view mirrors. The Steel Soldiers motorpool is growing [thumbzup]
I wonder what the total operational MV count would be for this site?
Homeowners Association. Say no more, Say no more. There is no institution I loathe more than an HOA. It will probably be easier to move than deal with that circus.
Good luck with all that...
I think you have to make sure that the element is not directly contacting the block to prevent damage to the element. It should be placed parallel with the flow of coolant as well so as not to obstruct flow. Thats just my guess.
Wow many thanks for the info and the illustration. Taking the exhuast manifold off doesn't sound like fun right now. Thanks for enlightening me about alternate locations.
The 819 is way too much fun to drive around in. The wrecker saunters around town like a brontosaurus. And I thought my...
Hi,
We're still going through some items on the M819 (misc. coolant hoses, alternator etc.) and would like to install a block heater while we are draining some coolant.
Looking in the ZeroStart catalog, there are a dozen or more choices for the 855ci Cummins. Which one is right? The catalog...

RE: New m35
Download, Read, and Study all of the applicable TMs from this site.
Here is a summary of things to do: (some may think I'm being too kind for giving details to a newbie)(I still consider myself a newbie)

RE: New m35
Hi SpruceDeuce.
Now that you have your dream vehicle, why not test it out? You are welcome to join your fellow Steel Soldiers on Columbus Day weekend 2007 at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park for some Truck trials and Fun. I see that you are 200mi. (crow flies) away. Our invasion force...
They didn't even bother to tape off the tires when they sprayed the wheels. And shouldn't the wheels be painted black?
Question: What's the M123s wheelbase? Also: Whats an M911s Wheelbase?
An M819s is 216.5" with an overall length (not including the boom) of 334"
While perusing GL (not going to get into greater specificity) I just had to post a couple of pics. The first one is just funny. Its the dash of an A3 (those trucks look way too russian.)
Second pic: Are these a new replacement for the old tri-switch? Any info?
Please post some of your...
I thought you tack welded it on and then I saw the chains and binders  . Did the dumb bed shift any?
How deep will your pond be and will it be lined or spring fed? Decorative or maybe its for the moo moos?
Congratulations on the successes of your son JT. Making bread and having fun. And thanks for signing up.
I know there are more Steel Soldiers out there that are not afraid to demonstrate the capabilities of there MV :).
