Its alot fun when you can see things in action instead of in a parking lot. The tractor pull is very informal and having no rules keeps it fun. (I should ask if I can pull the sled with the Deuce at...
RE: Another thing you can do with A/W crane mounted on a m81
[thumbzup] Wow thank you kindly sir. And thanks for the "boom might get sucked in tip." I don't know what I would do without this site. Thanks again.
RE: Another thing you can do with A/W crane mounted on a m81
Push Bar :cookoo: Excuse my ignorance, all we did was use the cab control to extend the boom. I assumed that when the pins were pulled that it would just shoot out further.....
Wait a second...does this have anything to do with...
RE: Another thing you can do with A/W crane mounted on a m81
Wow I never realized that. I assumed you'd have to grind off the welds from the stop blocks. I will deff. be checking that out today. Any clearance issues?

Attached are some photos of the previous weekends joint ATHS/LIAPA show out at the Farm Museum. The M819 has already come in handy. We loaded my busted up Cletrac EHG into the Deuce to sell it. And we delivered it to someone at the end of the day. (I'm really looking for a OC-46w/loader...

Update: Just got off the horn and my bro says that the Bronze will not accept Photographs, Pencil tracings, etc. They want to see the truck in person to verify the number. :? That should be fun.
FYI: The County Police Impound/Training Facility is a former BOMARC/Nike?Ajax Missle base...
As recommended by Chris S. and others (thank you), My brother went with Gulfway historical insurance and it was $290 a year for his M819. No problems, no hassles, and the only restriction is "not to be used as daily transportation." you can even haul stuff. I would also like to say that they...
RE: rights
A maximum of five "running" "vehicles" in public view? :cookoo: Wow talk about limiting your freedoms.
It is astounding how local zoning codes are written so that lifestyles and hobbies are controlled and shaped. I could rant for hours... :|
Hopefully someday lawmakers will...
Those pics show the result of alot of hard work & patience. Its nice to see good work come from someone who doesn't have the "perfect shop" to work in. I'm so used to working outside that I feel claustraphobic if working on something in my small barn. I would need a blimp hangar to feel like...
Plastic or nylon is common on cars and trucks. Copper is prevalent when dia. of the plug and torque increases. The copper washer has greater durability and is less prone to crack. Exhaust manifold or header gaskets are copper and seal very nicely because they squish.
I also never noticed. I'm pretty consistant about cleaning the plug threads before replacement on all vehicles and didn't recall a pile of filings on the plug. hmmm
That copper washer looks quite busted up.
The diversity of the vehicle types shown is amazing. It is very nice to see you guys can still have fun over there. You should rescue some Panthers, Tigers, and Leopards from the local "zoo." I see a Leopard has escaped and is running around but...where's the turret? Is that wrecker...
