Just thought i would share the mod that i did to my XM819. moved the original shackle mount over and added one next to it. then used a Holmes tow bar. works well for me and keeps it pretty stock lookong when the bar is removed.
Yes David the light is a different color. Not really red but mine is a wierd color. The use of them before convoy lights makes sense. I allways wondered when the convoy light came in to use.
I dont know the best way but i know what works for me. i hook a chain to the shive end with the pins pulled and 2nd stage all the way out.then hook the other end of the chain to a anchor point and use the retracting motion to pull the 3rd stage out. to retract the 3rd stage just dead head the...
snowmobile tracks freeze the snow rock hard also. DMg you are so right, fresh snow there is hardly a limit what a 17 ton allwheel drive truck will go thru if driven accordingly. rizzo, i dont have clearance tween the tandems with the 16.00's to run chains.
Anyone ever flat tow a M37? every time i have done it it was an adventure. of course towing them with a 5 ton they have no choice but to follow but the poor tires---.
