I did it a little different. Used a transfer pump off from a M51a2. prob not the best but it works as long as you monitor the level in the draw tank. David i'm sure a cici replacement could be located. the lines however, seems to me the were somewhat uncommon size. its been to long ago ( more...
A lot of these type of trailer use a pony eng. cant tell from the pic for sure but, i think i see a hyd coupler on the front so i dont know nuttin. I to fell in love. very nice and handy size.
the only pump it has is on the eng. its prob pulling air. maybe at the filter gasket, maybe at the three way valve? i have been told the three way valve is a poor setup. i think the petcock in the line by the filter is a vent for draining the filter. it really wouldnt work for much else as it's...
Thanks for the pic's of what we need to find.very nice. glad they were all there. heck one of my 5 ton's came without the darn tool box! look out eBay! here we come!
Jim, welcome. good to see another michigander here. I cant tell if it runs but i can tell you i have a trucking co that does these moves very reasonably. pm me if you want the info. your truck looks good tho. cant volunteer to go with as i have little time with a job and all.
I dont know how long ago that was but Does this mean that your going to need practice? i have a set of doubles here you can play with. with your M127 recovery you were just makeing it areodynamic! gathering (i think i have all of it) stuff right now to put a pintle on the rear of the M127.
I can pull my M146 with the 5 ton. looks a little funny but it works. did you see it hooked up at the trail ride? you could allways put bigger tires on one to help with the difference in height. as far as wheel hopping i wont do it unless it's a have to situation.
Kevin, probably not on this one. this is the tractor that i use to pull the M131A4 , the M127 , The M146 and such. bigger tires would only make the 5th wheel height even worse than it is now.
I should add that with this screw turned in the engine will NOT turn off with the switch. i use this when moving a unit that has not proven itself to me to be free of electrical troubles.
bug man there is a thumb screw on the pump. just turn it in and the fuel stays turned on untill you turn it back out. left side of pic just behind the larger hose that runs vertical. its rust colered and faces the front. i dont know how to draw lines on pics yet.
Thanks David. actually i added the winch and relateded items first. the level wind is not the correct one. but it does work. with out the winder the winch loves to eat the cable off between the horizontal fairlead and the fairlead frame. the bridge truck winch that i just aquired has some...
