The stock system works this way:
The stock GP relay is internally grounded. It does not use the mounting bracket for its ground. It needs a power source and a ground source. If you use an external ground relay (ie ford relay), you glow plugs will be on all the time and will burn out quickly...
If your truck has stock wiring then your setup is not correct.

I have built many bleeders. $10 for the sprayer and less than $10 for the fittings and hose at the hardware store. Seems like I loan them out and they never return. Nothing fancy. My first one I built I put quick disconnects and a pressure gauge. It was nice. The rest where KISS.

Too bad gamagoat.com isn't around anymore. When the owner died his family had no interest in keep it going. All the intel is lost.
Chances are you will not have to bleed the entire system. Just depends on how long and how bad the leak was. If you have never bled the system then it may be a good idea to do everything.
