Ditto on my truck as well with 2008 tires. I was just driving down the street at 30 miles an hour a few miles from my home and my left steering tire blew! I've had great success and great service from Feltz Tire. Bought tires from them twice now. Last time I bought two tires shipped from...
And the chair would become one with the truck! Kind of like how a viper fish male mates with the female. He bites into the side of her because he's like on 20th of her size, then he becomes absorbed and just becomes a little gonad lump on her side!
So close and yet so far!
Very close to fitting camping chairs in there! Now the mission is to find a slightly thinner camping chair that's between 18 and a half and 19 and a half inches wide or design my own damn chair made out of square tube!
Every time I drove my truck it kind of had a rhythmic shake and I suspected it was the driver side front tire because the passenger side front tire had recently blown and I had replaced it. I replaced it with one of the two new (2019 but never installed) tires I had bought from Feltz tire in...
I have a friend who works in Aliso Viejo who was a diesel truck mechanic for the Marine corps. He's now a CNC operator I'll ask him if he's available to help but he's generally pretty busy with his kids.
Last time I changed the tire, the front half of the rim came off easy. For the back half of the rim I hung the wheel by the chain of the tire hoist, with some tire snot some beating and some time it slid off by itself after a while.

And I got this Jack and stands which work great!
It occurs to me is it a trailer already has everything you need to have a torsion free frame! The trailer hitch and the suspension for the tires. You can make a mount for the trailer hitch, much more secure than just the regular ball, Mount that whole section hard to the frame of the truck...
I've been thinking of something similar lately but a fixed centerpiece and two side pieces that are lids for containers underneath. The Steyr trucks in Europe have an option of a bunk there also
Yeah right you definitely don't want to knock something over! First time I backed my truck up towards my fence, I didn't have backup cameras yet, it snapped off the 4x6 post and I didn't even feel it!
Yeah you get part way down the b pillar and then there's a firewall brake sort of plate with a little hole in it...
I got lucky with one wire on one side just happened to go through it but the other one... well let's just say I gave up trying!
