It is different, because it is something was was done for free before.
Most folks here don't remember how things were done before GL. I do. Your SF-97 came for the final bid price.
Now we pay more- for crappier service.
Would I not lower my price? Maybe, maybe not- but in resale the name...
On a duece $60 isn't a big deal.
On a trailer, it is.
But that doesn't matter-what matters is that there should be no charge for the SF-97. Just because Government Liquidation has proven they can be so incomptent that they can screw it all up doesn't mean we should be happy to pay them $60...
Have people forgotten before that when you got it with the sale, no problems.
Government Liquidation screwed everyone when they stopped doing SGF-97's, then as a solution for the problem they created they started charging more money- and we should be glad that they are charging for what used...
Just get some Duraback.
Durabak Company :Truck Bed Liners, Photos, How To Applications, Product Reviews.
Works better, and they already have it in Olive Drab:grin:
I have been looking for one of those as well. I have a damm nice set of heavy duty slave cables that are 2 pin on one end and industrail quality jumper cables on the other. My primary vehicle to use them from is my 1028, so I have to either find one or swap my CUCV to a 2 pin and just sell them.
The part in red is where ya screwed up. Kerosene, 99% of it anyway, has the red dye marking it for off road use. Same stuff they use to mark off road disel.
Putting K1 in your tank is the same as dumping off road diesel in it.
You are going right past my house and my store.
If you pass by during business hours swing off at Exit 37, head west on HWY 19/23 that is right there at the exit running next to I-40, and you will pass through Canton NC then come to Clyde NC- stop by the shop and say hi and have some coffe...
The dye used in off road fuel is specific, and that is what the DMV lab tests for. They started that after folks contested charges in court claiming they were adding ATF for lubricity.
Unless the test showed the specific off road fuel dye, no charges.
My 700R4 swap starts tomorrow, but I am having the local transmission shop do it.
They are providing a freshly rebuilt 700R4 built for towing with a warranty, the transfer case with proper input shaft, TV cable and bracket, and doing the install all for $1600.
Meh, I doubt it does any more than pushing it through a Goldenrod filter does.
It damm sure doesn't do $700 better at separating water, that I am pretty sure of!
I looked today at Tractor Supply. Household filter housing (the same one they are using) $25. 5 micron filter elements $7...
The filter housing on the outside is simple a household water filter housing.
$900 for the small kit?
Lets see:
Boat gas tank- $35
Intake screen-$5
Hose and clamps- $10
Filter Housing- $25
Nozzle- $25
Electric pump $40-90
Buy one of their filters if you think it is special, but I bet a...
It looks like it was never government property, but purchased by some contractor from AM General to test and show off their goods. Therefore aside from export restrictions there should be zero issues owning it.
Glad that M-67 heater worked for you. We are selling more and more of them to guys using them for WMO and WVO.
You can run it on diesel as well, or a diesel/gas blend. I find using diesel gives me a little more piece of mind running them. One of my customers is running them on whatever mix of...
