If the trailer only has taillights, it is pretty easy to change out the 12V bulbs with 24V bulbs. Standard taillights usually have 1157 (or 2057) bulbs. The 24 volt equivalent bulb is 1662. I'd check Napa, CARQUEST, big truck suppliers, tractor suppliers, etc. I have several extras of these...
I'd say you should be fine. As I progressed through my deuce's conversion to super singles, I drove around with 395's in the rear and 9:00 x 20 NDT's in the front one day with no problems. It looked kind of cool also.
I had the same problem as you. replaced the orings as you. Still had the problem. As clinto said, it was the rubber on the disc that was too hard to conform to the seat and seal properly. I scraped off the rubber, cleaned the disk well, and made a new rubber out of bicycle inner tube, and glued...
The deuce may not be the ultimate anti-Prius vehicle simply because of the "green" nature that comes with a multifueler. Now a five ton with an 855 cu. in. Cummins that can only burn diesel and smokes like a steam engine...
My son used to own a 71 Corvette. Those cars are a PITA to work on. You...

It would be real cool to get a bunch of us together for a convoy out to the Trinity Site.
Sounds like a cool convoy op. Check this link: http://www.wsmr.army.mil/PAO/Trinity/Pages/HowtoGetThereDirectionstothesiteforthebiannualopenhouses.aspx It describes a convoy out of Alamogordo/Tularosa.
Have your upholstery guy sew on a loop of material from one end to the other, replacing the insert. Then slide rubber rope in the loop to keep it expanded when in the windshield channel. There are threads on repairing this problem with multiple suggestions but I like this one for simplicity.
How bout you drive it for him from CA to Tonopah, then see if 1954 COE will drive it from there to El Paso. I would drive it to Austin. Heck that's half way there.
Something that I think is a factor is that the A1s are usually older than 25 years and the A2s are newer. That comes into play (at least with me) on the cost of insurance. I have my trucks on collector car insurance that I could not get if they were less than 25 years old. Some states also have...
I have an M927A1 that I could be convinced to part with. it does not have a winch (928) but it does have a dropside bed. It is the only one that I have seen with a dropside bed. Even the TMs indicate they were not made because of the length. The truck is in fantastic condition. I am a ways from...
It depends on what specific topic you are talking about. Eminent domain does get used under the pretense of being for the good of the many when it is really about the good of the few, or the one. Unfortunate! However, there are other areas that do appear to be very much in favor of the...
