Bump. The local guy didn't pan out and the guy that's going to Gilbert is still interested. Anyone else headed North? Thanks!!

What do you want changed about GL?

Since the auction listings go away after 24 hrs, I have made it my practice to save each listing along with the bid information packet on my computer after I win. That way, I have a copy forever and can always go back and print it off later. Go to the auction listing, click file, then save...

    900 series truck

Last I heard Winslow's truck was going out West. It had Goodyear's on it too.

What do you want changed about GL?

I like this thread so long as we keep it civil. Customer service is my number one complaint. I have purchased quite a few items over the years from GL and their service ranges from great with some CSR's to poor with others. I know it's like that in any huge company, but I still feel...

VA DMV now rejecting GL's SF-97

My re-assigned Florida titles came in the mail today. I went to the DMV and came home with fresh VA titles and a set of plates for my M1008. Phew, glad that's over with. I will be asking for a FL title from here on out.

Kenny, I'll have to pull the cover and check. I can't remember if they are 3.73 or 4.10 gears.

Just blew the rear in my '86 m1009

Depending on what your plans are for the truck, I would agree that 3/4 ton running gear is the easiest and cheapest way to go. I have a 14-bolt FF in my shed with an open carrier that I got from a K20 at the Pull-a-part for $75 6 years ago. It was going in the Blazer and then I sold it. The...

Just blew the rear in my '86 m1009

Re: RE: Just blew the rear in my Or the Gov-Pop! I blew the spiders in mine years ago wheeling it hard with 33" Swampers on it. I put a Auburn HD Limited Slip in it instead. Couldn't afford the Detroit at the time.

No More Political Avatars or Signatures or Slamming!!!

From this moment on, there will be no more political avatars, political signature lines or political slamming in the forums. It is doing nothing positive for our site. All it does is create anger and dissension in the ranks. I am tired of it. I'm not talking about MV related politics. There is a...

Need item picked up at Ft. Lewis

Thanks Eric. That's not bad at all. If none of the NW SS folks happen to be close enough, that's the way I will go. The box contains a new PT Injection pump for a NHC-250 Cummins. :)

Need item picked up at Ft. Lewis

Hi Guys, I need an item picked up from Ft. Lewis. It is in a box that is 10x10x11" and it probably weighs less than 30 pounds. I need it picked up, the item padded, and the whole thing given to the UPS man. I have an account with them. I will pay for some fuel if needed. They do load-outs...

Hello, New guy from S.E. Pennsylvania.

Welcome to our SS family! You will a ton of knowledge here. I like old Chevy Blazers too. I came really close to buying a 1970 K5 back in the 90's, but unfortunately the previous owner was a real goon and butchered it beyond hope.

    MRAP's in Iraq - NEW Pictures - Updated 03 Sep 2008

Thanks for the photos. I am so glad to see our guys and gals are starting to get the protection they deserve. It's too bad they didn't have this equipment from the beginning. I guess battle gear is under a constant state of evolution as the bad guys figure out how to thwart the latest...

    What???

Ditto to what Tom said. My PCB in my 923A2 went out and if I clicked it enough it would work every once in a while. I got my new one from John Winslow. I think it was around $200. We have complained about the bad design numerous times here on SS. Do a search and you will find our previous...
