    If you did that route, you could also hit the CAF in Odessa, TX and the Armed forces Museum in Houston and the Battleship Alabama. The southern route has a lot along the way.

    Instead of cutting the harness, I'd just put an adapter in to the 4 pin. They are easy to make and won't hurt the value of the trailer.

    Your hyd fuses will not prevent a loss when sitting. Has anyone looked at the Memphis air brake conversions? How hard would they be to replicate?

    If it's origional a 1962 should be a M35A1. As mentioned above it would have the 427 (which is pretty rare).

    Just for the record, I like my digital switches. Oldest has been in for 6-7 years-no issues.
