So I know they used the RT524 or the Rt246, but what frequencies do these operate on. I am thinking about getting into ham radio and I am looking at different radios and was just wondering if these radios can be used for 2M transmission?
Thanks
miles
Mine had no symptoms of a problem. I drove it 200mi the day before without trouble and started it the next day without trouble or symptoms and 3Mi later I was on the side of the road with a bad ip.
Well it will be under a car port so it is out of the sun and such. It is about time to change the oil, but I don't know if I will have time to change it before I leave. When I get back should I change it before I drive it a little or change it after drivig it and getting all the oil mixed up...
Most transmission problems are vacuum related. I also noticed that you oil pressure light didn't come on when the key was on. It might be because your other oil pressure gauge has eliminated it, but just a fyi. It is the top right one above gen2.
Ok sounds good. The way I have been doing it now that it is hot out is just hop in and crank it the 1/2 sec it takes after the wait to start light goes out without giving it any pedal and the light says on for 2-3 sec and goes out without fail. In the winter I give it 1/2 throttle when it starts...
Do you give your motor 1/2 throttle like the operators manual says to when it starts? I haven't been doing that and that is when I noticed it. If I do that it goes out real quick, but ROARS to life.
That looks like my truck after some off roading with an unknown, but short drive shaft. I broke the transmission, t-case, and adapter. I can't help but wonder if some of that stuff was a forklift job.
My ip died after driving 200 mi from my home on a trip . I read they are only built to last 100,000mi and the 25 year old rubber in them tends to begin to break down.
Mine stays on for about 3 sec after start up and goes off for the duration of my drive. Normal or bad? It has been about 3,000 miles since an oil change so I am going to do that soon.
Or some half doors and if you use the quick release pins then you can change them in less than 15 mins.
