Triple jim can 3d print a plastic insert that goes in that hole and the meter will set it it. There is a post of his on here somewhere showing the piece and i think it was for the hardy meter. I cant remember. Send him a pm.

Thats pretty cool. They make marine generators as well. Quite expensive. When i used to work on yachts i would see a fischer here and there. They were the quietest generators i ever heard. There was one i saw at a demo one time and from 10 ft away you couldnt hear it.

I'm confused now because I went right onto champions website and looked up the ch-42 and it says the thread size is 10mm on that plug. I know that it's 7/16x20 in the head unless for some reason that is the same as 10mm.

Well i spent the whole weekend driving in the truck picking up 2 new gen projects. Got an 002 yesterday and today an 003. Both private sales. So far i have managed to stay away from gl. The guy i bought the 002 from i think is a member here on ss. Not sure his name though.
Well that depends on the type of consumer paint but yeah. In the end even the worse adhesion of the consumer paint to the carc would be better than the carc to bare metal.
