The OP said that he always checks fluids and therefor doesn't need an idiot light.
What happens when you are traveling along on the freeway and the vehicle in front of you kicks a rock up into your radiator causing a leak? Or one of your hoses comes loose.
You might want to investigate the idea of a shade tarp. But instead of canvas, use some highly reflective sheet metal like polished stainless steel. Possibly set it up on a roller like an awning.
I am sure you can come up with a workable solution.
I would go through the fuel tank and parts. Pull the pump and filter screens. here is a link to help

Hopefully someone with a M54A2 can measure the diameter of the bleeder screw on the threads.
It is item 2 on the attached pic. There are two of them so you can measure whichever is easier.
Thanks for the help!
I was hoping that porkysplace would use the same program on the above data that he did on the previous post or point me in the direction of that program.
Thanks!
I also need the data for the bleed screws on the air pack which is listed as such:
PAOZZ 2530-294-6747 SCREW,BLEEDER: BODY ASSEMBLY EA 2 * * * * 108 2
AND CYLINDER CAP
7376729(19207)
I don't think they are the same size as the brake cylinders.
Thanks for any help!
My problem is I need to order the new parts and my truck is in the next town over in storage.
Thanks again guys, I really appreciate your support.
I now understand what porkysplace first replied after rereading it a few times. Thanks!
Thanks guys! What about the size for the air pack? Are they the same? I am thinking not since the TM shows a different part number as I listed in my second post.
Thanks again for your help!
I must be missing something. This doesn't seem like the specs to a bleed screw, but maybe
I am just ignorant.
I also need the data for the bleed screws on the air pack which is listed as such:
PAOZZ 2530-294-6747 SCREW,BLEEDER: BODY ASSEMBLY EA 2 * * * * 108 2

Here is the entry from the TM:
2530-274-4510 SCREW,MACHINE: BLEEDER A EA 1 * * * * 107 4
7409322(19207)
I want to put speed bleeders on my truck.
Thanks for any help!
