I had a visit from Ray (lives down near Hammer) last evening, I forget his SS name but I greatly enjoyed speaking with him and showing him around the trucks. From our discussion it seems keeping the trucks in pairs (even mixed pairs) is the best for all involved. I guess some decisions must be...
Thank you Poccur, that is stated nicely, much a better synopsis than in the manual. We got some 305 end panels that we will be using as an internal divider between or sleeping area and cooking area. Got some 2" self adhesive commercial velcro to hold it in place after trimming to fit.
Sorry...
They are going to be a lot of work, no doubt. They are mostly there but it will a lot of effort for a very strange vehicle. BTW, the sheet steel under the rear decking of one of the 623's was a later mod for when carrying fuel cans. It was to keep dripping fuel cans from making a Stalwart...

I bet that sucker is pretty heavy, but you're probably spot on in the scrap value, probably a lot of aluminum there in the body. I'd worry about the trailer pulling around the Deuce, not the other way around. I certainly wouldn't pull it with an empty Deuce . . . 2¢
What do you think killed my back :cookoo:
They are very dangerous, you pick one up and it kills your back. Other than that, 7' of harmless pretty aluminum for display. I'd like to have a demilled motor but they are just too big.
