    Recovery Anchors?!?

You misunderstood me, yours is a copy of the one I have here, and the one here is a copy of the rusty one in the back of the pickup.

    Recovery Anchors?!?

Someone, who cannot be mentioned, used this photograph and made one himself. I'm standing next to the results. BTW, nice work Steve!

    PNW Info Thread!

I had a visit from Ray (lives down near Hammer) last evening, I forget his SS name but I greatly enjoyed speaking with him and showing him around the trucks. From our discussion it seems keeping the trucks in pairs (even mixed pairs) is the best for all involved. I guess some decisions must be...

He stated "Biggest and Baddest SUV", if it's limited to 50 year old trucks with 1950's technology just say so. :cookoo:

    Base X shelter won!

Thank you Poccur, that is stated nicely, much a better synopsis than in the manual. We got some 305 end panels that we will be using as an internal divider between or sleeping area and cooking area. Got some 2" self adhesive commercial velcro to hold it in place after trimming to fit. Sorry...

    PNW Info Thread!

They are going to be a lot of work, no doubt. They are mostly there but it will a lot of effort for a very strange vehicle. BTW, the sheet steel under the rear decking of one of the 623's was a later mod for when carrying fuel cans. It was to keep dripping fuel cans from making a Stalwart...

It is OPEN, people wanted to come every day at the end of the week but my back REALLY hurts. I figured a Saturday was the best for most people. Look back and call me in the morning if you want to come.

    PNW Info Thread!

Just a heads up guys, I have to leave by 3PM to go to a friends house. But from 9:00AM 'till then I'm free to wander aimlessly, shuffling my feet like some old fugger, which I'm fast becoming.

Reading those old internet myths again? :funny: You just want them all :cookoo: and are discouraging the competition. I've driven one about 1500 miles on the road without issue . . . It does take a while at no more than 40 mph though. PS still on for late morning?

    PNW Info Thread!

Hammer, people have wanted to come see them nearly constantly since I posted info on them. I have to see the doctor again tomorrow but my ability to move around has limits. I've only had one visitor so far but as far as I know, you have only asked to come Friday which I can't do. I was hoping...

M262 Nike Missile Launch Control Station?

I bet that sucker is pretty heavy, but you're probably spot on in the scrap value, probably a lot of aluminum there in the body. I'd worry about the trailer pulling around the Deuce, not the other way around. I certainly wouldn't pull it with an empty Deuce . . . 2¢

M262 Nike Missile Launch Control Station?

What do you think killed my back :cookoo: They are very dangerous, you pick one up and it kills your back. Other than that, 7' of harmless pretty aluminum for display. I'd like to have a demilled motor but they are just too big.
