Originaly these had silicone brake fluid, so you need to look into wheather you need to flush the system and put silicone back in or find out what needs to be done to replace with DOT 3. What Gimp said. Pliobond is the way to go.

This is just my opinion. If the glow plugs are working, then everything should fire up right away. Otherwise you would get an imbalance of firings, which might not be that big a deal in the short term, but over an extended period may cause the symptoms you are seeing. I could be totaly wrong...

I would strongly advise getting all the glow plugs working.

Possibly the reason for the engine running starter protection has to do with combat situations where all **** is breaking and you jump into a truck to get out of Doge. You might be a little distracted.......

Just make sure the come along is able to handle the weight. If that lands on your foot, it is going to hurt.

Just a heads up. It is possible that the previous owner might have converted over to DOT3, although very unlikely. Just be sure to check. Mixing the DOT3 and DOT5 will cause major problems.

Not sure about dimensions, but it's possible that you could mount those wheels right in the pockets of the quadrail.

Here is an idea for someone with critical clearance problems. Same ramp as the OP, but add a pair of small wheels at the end of each ramp. set up a small stand alone ramp under each ramp. Load the vehicle on the ramps, then pull forward the length of the small ramps allowing the two main ramps...

What about a modified ctis so that you could make the rear squat down?

For longer runs, I think you could just fab up something that could attach to the middle and have a way to adjust its height. Aka landing leg type thing. Just my 2 cents
