I wouldn't think steel would be very good at all coming right off the compressor. With all the moisture coming off the compressor, I'd think the inside of a steel line would rust right away and cause all sorts of problems with rust in the system.
The stock line is copper.
I'd say plastic DOT...
To me, the bows aren't hard to deal with. The cover itself is a nightmare by yourself though.
If you could just figure some way to lift the cover off would be a big help.
I'm going to close the thread because it looks like it is becoming a classified ad. Ads aren't allowed in the open forum so the OP needs to start a classifieds ad if he wishes to sell it.
I really don't understand your problem either. I don't see any locked classified ads.
As a practice, mods don't lock classifieds ads. Seeing as how the thread starter is the only one that can post to the ads, we only delete them and even that is a rare occasion other than old ads where the...
Can you get them filled when marked like that? I know our local welding supply is very picky about filling bottles that doesn't have their name on the collar.
Yes, the rear wrecker winches are a pain to unspool (and just use in general). I've had quite a bit of experience with this winch and can't think of any practical way to add on a free spool, you would more or less have to custom make everything from the drive gear out.
Are you winching...
When dealing with these big tires and pressures involved you're never 100% safe. Standard practice in the industry is to use a cage and have the gauge either as a separate device or the gauge mounted close to the chuck.
As Castle Bravo has stated, you're relatively safe adding air standing at...
Are you saying you have a regulator on the line to fill tires? If so, remove the regulator and run full pressure on the line, your tires will fill up much faster that way.
My Buddy in the lighting business came through for me. He found the 24",24V LED tubes for $21 each.
Although the shelter is wired for 10 of the florescent lights, I think just three of the LEDs will do me. I know I hotwired in some 120v just to see if the lights worked and half of the bulbs...
Well I've hit a roadblock on 24v 24" LED tube lights. I have found them in 48" but they want $65 each for them . I've got a call into my buddy that is in the lighting business but he hasn't came up with anything yet. Anybody know where I can find 24v 24" LED tubes?
I have even...
Like you, I'm in the beginning stages of my camper build. I'm using a S-280 shelter for mine.
My first order of business is A/C. At least then I can go camping on a cot until I get the rest of it built and not sweat to death.
I assume you are talking about a HMMWV instead of a Hummer.
I'm not very familiar with the platform but I do know the axles are completely different from Chevy trucks.
They are so expensive due to supply and demand. There have been a relatively small number released from the military. The...
Just be careful with any dust. Breathing CARC dust is bad.
It's a pretty sizable job trying to remove CARC. Is there a reason you can't just paint over it?
