Here's who makes the ends- http://products.esmet.com/viewitems/clevis-fork-jaw-fittings/forged-clevis-socket-fittings?
Here's where I ordered a new one for my deuce- http://www.metrosupplyllc.com/page/301946209
I have no idea about the universal seatbelts but it's my experience that stuff that is claimed to fit everything, won't fit anything (without modification).
You're also going to have to watch out on length also. You don't have a lot of space to work with between the bellhousing and the transfer case.
While I do believe the 5-tons would greatly benefit from better gear selection, looks like it would be quite a job to get it done.
I think this is the key. If you can figure out a way to rig it, I think it might work. Worse case, you'll still have to pull the axle but nothing will be lost trying.
Just looks like a old Tulsa winch to me. I don't recall ever seeing a MV with one like that. Probably a civilian model.
It's hard to judge size by the pic but I'd say maybe 8,000lb.
The cold start issue sounds like a glow plug problem but the stalling at a stop sign could be a IP problem. Could be a little of both but I'd start with the glow plugs because that's the number one issue with cold start problems.
There were a couple of WWII bombers on display last year, I'm not really up on aviation stuff so I can't tell you the models. There's pics of one of them in the link I provided above.
I'm unsure of what will be showing up this year but I'll find out.
I talked with my contact on the county...
I found a few pics of last year's event. As you can see in the pic of the 4 trucks lined up, we have access to that entire field behind the trucks.
You can also go here for more pics of the aviation side of things- https://plus.google.com/photos/+MarkSchenkelgofly/albums/5944680864656030753
I've never had anything but positive comments from strangers. A few of my buddies will rag me a little about why I have so much green iron but they don't mean anything hateful by it.
I just don't understand why people feel the need to make a negative comment instead of just keeping their mouth...
The actual show starts at 10AM but I'll be there by 8:00. It ends up at 4:00 but you can leave any time before this if you need to.
Last year we parked right at the edge of the tarmac in the grass and there's a big mowed field right behind where we parked that we have access to. The car show...
They are having a air show, car show, and military vehicle show at the Dickson,TN airport. I'm getting the word out and trying to gather as many military vehicles and equipment that we can. It kind of goes along with the Veteran's Day weekend.
We did this last year and it was a great event. The...
This thread is getting awfully close to violating the no auction posting rule.
Talk about IP in general is fine but we don't need to talk about specific auctions or lots.
I'm not sure this is within code. I'm sure some electricians that are more up on current codes will correct me if I'm wrong but it's my understanding that you are only allowed one ground rod in a system. In other words, if you've got a ground rod already at the structure the generator is...
How on earth can they control that? The buyers set the price, not IP. Now they can set the starting price at unreasonable levels but they'll change that soon enough if they aren't getting bids.
I know there's been all kinds of speculation on how this change is going to affect surplus buying...
I find it hard to understand why early auto diesels were so far behind in the 80s. By the time the 80s rolled around, IDI was already outdated tech in the ag and construction world.
I'm very familiar with agriculture engines of that time period and earlier and they were building 200+HP engines...
